Slovenia too

@Cobra Commander Na, Fascism can also be "Left". The proper definition is best used by the one who made it. The Italian dictator Mussolini who had defined the term like this, "one stick on its own is weak, a bundle or "fascio" of sticks together is strong." The icon representing Fascism is a bundle of sticks with an axe. Therefore the idea is simply an argument for a collective of liked minded people gaining strength from their collective unity.

So any pro-collectivist authoritarian ideology can then be termed fascist in nature; a Communist Chinese party, a soviet Union, a Roman Empire, a Nazi Germany or Fascist Italy. Whichever group which forces its people to conform to its collective will. I think that logic is sound.

2019-12-15 07:13:09 UTC

Oh I know that

2019-12-15 07:13:49 UTC

It was a mockery of the leftist argument that fascism is only on the right wing of any given political spectrum

2019-12-15 07:14:51 UTC

Oh yes such bias <:Commie_Corbyn:462286635166334986>

2019-12-15 07:15:44 UTC

You then get the entymological fallacy bullshit rebuttal

2019-12-15 07:16:26 UTC

Nevermind the redefinition makes no sense as jsut having far right slapped onto it, but if you point this out then *you're* called a fascist.

2019-12-15 07:18:14 UTC

Yeah down in Australia, the universities are rife with this political correct narrative.

2019-12-15 07:20:36 UTC

Yikes

2019-12-15 07:21:03 UTC

As are many of ours in America

2019-12-15 07:22:42 UTC

We have a nice little trio at the moment tho, with America, Australia and now the United Kingdom under "conservative" governments If you wanna call them that. The SJ movement would have to be falling apart at the moment screaming.

2019-12-15 07:24:40 UTC

Yeah and the UK seems to be having it's own 2016 election like fallout

2019-12-15 07:25:24 UTC

Honestly though it's not even really strictly conservative

2019-12-15 07:26:45 UTC

Just not fucking far left, here in the USA at least the republicans have moved more towards the center

2019-12-15 07:28:36 UTC

oh yeah If you saw the Australian election this year they had ABC reporters almost in tears that labour didn't win.
And I 100% agree with that observation.

2019-12-15 07:29:34 UTC

Thankfully the Patriots or

2019-12-15 07:29:44 UTC

Hell

2019-12-15 07:30:05 UTC

Just the reasonable people are making their voices heard through the elections

2019-12-15 07:30:45 UTC

Best of luck with next years election yank 😉

2019-12-15 07:30:47 UTC

People are finally starting to reject the far left worldwide

2019-12-15 07:30:58 UTC

Likewise<:trump:544058052261707786>

2019-12-15 07:32:48 UTC

And it's looking like the left is almost giving the election to Trump<:smugon:512048583806025739>

2019-12-15 11:29:55 UTC

Eh

2019-12-15 11:30:13 UTC

The ones who reject the far left haven't moved much, just look at Tim Pool

2019-12-15 11:30:46 UTC

It's the far left that has increased in numbers, so that the gap between far left and every other group has increased

2019-12-15 14:21:04 UTC

I think the radical left is expanding, as is hate towards it. When you are locked up in a bubble, it's verry easy to see only one of these two trends.

Anyone watched the PC trainwreck on Dutch national tv? <:slurpgon:583424900732157956> Giving away a price to politicians because they do their job for once <:slurpgon:583424900732157956> Crowd full of boomers <:slurpgon:583424900732157956> Completely unbiased questions

2019-12-16 18:42:31 UTC

Hopefully the Dutch have an early election and the Fvd get a major surge in seats and force Mark Rutte to either allow them into a government or resign

2019-12-16 18:42:49 UTC

But sadly that will never happen, but one can always hope

2019-12-16 18:44:45 UTC

Dutch Politics is cleverly designed. There is an overabundance of left parties, with 2-3 at the top at all times. And once things get hot and people get pissed off the other, then smaller parties suddenly 'reemerge'. People are pissed off at D66 and disappointed by GroenLinks, so now we suddenly see the PvdA make a convenient comeback.

2019-12-16 18:45:03 UTC

Which is an absolute boomer party <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-12-16 18:50:03 UTC

That is true

2019-12-16 18:50:42 UTC

I always thought D66 was more of a centrist/social liberal party instead of a left leaning party?

2019-12-16 18:53:06 UTC

They usually were fairly centrist, but right now they're more akin to rabid europhiles. Calling for one big EU and an EU army.

2019-12-16 18:55:13 UTC

They consider themselves liberal and democratic but pissed off a lot of people when they agreed to remove the right to hold a referendum after the big Brexit scare

2019-12-16 18:56:09 UTC

Their minister also held a big 'anti fake news' campaign paid for by the National TV about big russian fake news scares, which turned out to all be fake news itself
