MPs should be paid a lot
but I'd say double the average salary.
And actually link it.
So when the people get wealthier
they get wealthier
Or maybe they should be paid the average income of their constituency as an insensitive to actually do something in impoverished areas
Yeah there’s a reason MPs aren’t paid cheap wages. Literally any time in history where you do that corruption runs rampant. It would make many MPs in the poorer areas reliant on their second jobs or underhanded forms of income.
It’s a nice edgy idea but it’s not very good in particular for poor communities irl.
