Yeah there’s a reason MPs aren’t paid cheap wages. Literally any time in history where you do that corruption runs rampant. It would make many MPs in the poorer areas reliant on their second jobs or underhanded forms of income.

It’s a nice edgy idea but it’s not very good in particular for poor communities irl.
