Its all about the head and the draw
because early guns were useless against horses
so they aded spiky bits
If you break your spear, you might be dead but at least you have a short stick to poke people with. If you break your gun, you might be dead but at least you have a short stick to poke people with.
However, when put against your original weapon in that situation, you have much better chance with spears <:smugon:512048583806025739>
Fix bayonnets!
Most arrows wont do jack shit, but if you got a bodkin tip and a longbow that will puncture chainmail fairly easy- however NO ARROW CAN PENETRATE PLATE, period, that is not even up for debate
@Storin you dont need to pierce armour to kill a knight
kill his horse and hes dead either way
Not really
Standby for another video
armor is no fucking joke
Hitler-chan is sitting on my lap and rubbing her nose on mine asking for patting <:ahegao:462286952335671296>
and all you need to do is sufficiently dent armour and your opponent is dead or crippled anyway
Not easy
metatron is literally retarded
nothing is easy
I will get you another video from shad
but if a horse get hits with an arrow it spooks
and its a huge target anyway
@SkeF no its not
if a horse spooks it hits another horse
chain reaction
video of guy doing military obstacle course is full suit incoming
Horses as targets for nubs who can't even 360 noscope with a longow confirmed
Plate distributes weight quite effectively
I literally put this dude on in the back ground with metatron when I play videogames or come here <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
There's this race they made with a firefighter, a marine I think and a dude in full plate
The guy in full plate was way faster than you'd imagine
I remember reading something about if you fall over in your armor you’re fucked without people helping you back up
knights could do acrobatics in armour
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBxdTkddHaE also here is a dude drawing a longbow (English) and firing an arrow against plate armour
so i think thats rather silly
@SkeF nope
Well yea full plate is only 30KG
The modern soldier carries more tbh
course plate thickness depends on the wearer
every single piece of armour is custom made
so variation does exist
