@Joshyyy its because his arguments are emotional-based. Not based on reason.
@DankMemez The difference is that you, even if you are still a man, can undoubtedly act like a beast and keep acting like one until you are put down.
Dont put words in my mouth
I did address the we bit lol
Jury nullification
Not everywhere has juries.
@Louis It is vengeance. You just don't want to admit that it is.
The father is killing the rapist out of vengeance. He justifies his act of vengeance partly by getting rid of a dangerous rapist and partly by claiming restitution for the sake of the victim and the victims family.
You're just avoiding calling it vengeance because you know that you actually agree with me but don't want to admit it.
Tell me this then, how does your idea of "vengeance" differ from my scenario? What is vengenace according to you? Describe it with an example.
Death shouldn't be a punishment
on the off chance they are wrongfully convicted
@PureEvilPie debateable
Death should definitely be a punishment. Sometimes with torture as a precursor.
If the crime is heinous enough
whats the point in torture?
@DankMemez Good for you. But there are still men who act like beasts and who ought to be treated as such.
@PureEvilPie death should be a legit penalty, but only reserved for the worst of the worst
why torture?
It's barbaric
@PureEvilPie To subject the perpetrator to suffering, so that the victim and their family can recieve the comforting knowledge that the perpetrator gets to feel something of what the victim was forced to endure.
They fly now.
@Zakhan Sure thing. When they come at you with a knife, shoot them with a gun, and protect yourself and your family.
Mr Seven Proxies on the other hand, wants to kill people en-mass, on the mere belief that they WILL do bad things
I am for capital punishment in case of most heinous crimes committed by the repeated offenders with clear, direct evidence (catching the person in the act) - usually really repeated, worst offenders committing crimes on the ground of ideology or personal satisfaction with disregard for suffering of others aren't reeducated
Seven proxies just seems like an edgy 15 year old tbh
Gonna leave it at that
he's basically deranged
That's not justice. That's basically a form of social justice. which is an oxymoron
Guys
they fly now
The best case i can think of nonvengeance was that abraham lincoln did not punish all of the remaining fighters or losers of the civil war anymore than he had too. This was the opposite of vengeance
Example: Brandon Tarrant should have gotten the death penalty
Most people would have
@DankMemez Never said I want to kill people en-masse on the belief that they will do bad things. I say that they should be subjugated and not be granted equal rights. If they adhere to these conditions without contest or fighting, then no further efforts are necessary.
It's only if they start fighting back that killing might become necessary.
Not seen anything exceptionally stupid on Seven Proxies' part.
Wait
Did the meme man NOT get it?
Seven who are you even talking about
