such as?
Magic is for heathens and pagans.
Same thing.
I mean we know how the universe came about
(I believe that this might be a subconcsious effort to allow me to cope with the world by finding hope in gods)
we know how humans got on Earth
o
Unlike most christians, I don't believe the divine was omnipresent. I believe that it too was created by the big bang
Something spiritual and non material cannot be created.
I used to be *very* atheist but it gave me no resolution. With this faith, I have a set of values that helps me better resolve internal conflict.
@Deleted User I do not believe it to be non material
that is why I don't believe in an afterlife
i managed to do that without faith
Spiritualism and materialism are not connected.
Well I also have issues so yeah having something to guide me just a little bit is just fine for me thanks
Why are you pagan, paganism isnt an universal religion, its folk culture taken to fanatical level that has no desire for progress or answers.
I'm not entirely sure whether to call it spiritualism. Honestly. I don't think these "Gods" are some metaphysical entity. I believe that they are very much material just far from what we can comprehend. Animals can't comprehend human psychology, why should we be able to comprehend what we call gods?
Paganism allows for progress much more than christianity.
Pagans didnt have progress because didnt see need for it or desire.
We don't have some ancient book that tells us to hate gays
That book only makes it clear.
If there is no need for progress and no desire (I'm talking about society right now), there should be no progress
You are mistaking advancements for progress.
And new things.
If the entire world didn't want gay marriage, why should it be implemented? (I'm not against gay marriage)
Advancements can be reactionary.
Advancement in science and technology is important.
Paganism does not restrict that
Desire for gay marrige was manifactured.
Honestly I am not going to get into that now.
This is about religion.
@Riley so here it is again, you are shying away from using instincts as an objective measure, which is good because that isn't objective. You say you don't necessarily think these instincts matter, but they form our morals. So once again you have no argument against the bible here. What is your point?
When I scroll down I see you using loaded terms like *best interest*, which once again needs an objective measuring stick that you ultimately must reject.
we were not talking about the bible?
o ya
lole
Lol
We are all servants of God, nothing more.
