They just describe it vaguely or w/e

2019-09-24 07:04:17 UTC

I mean I get it when kids hit puberty, that teachers would start having conversations about it

2019-09-24 07:04:21 UTC

with them

2019-09-24 07:17:25 UTC

But what do I know, it's a touchy subject

2019-09-24 09:45:08 UTC

Well

2019-09-24 09:45:15 UTC

This'll be interesting

2019-09-24 09:46:35 UTC

Things are about to really explode politically

2019-09-24 09:50:41 UTC

It is really all going down today

2019-09-24 09:54:09 UTC

The prorogation of parliament has been found unlawful by the clown court.

2019-09-24 09:57:38 UTC

The supreme court is not a clown court

2019-09-24 09:57:48 UTC

That is unhelpful rhetoric

2019-09-24 09:58:14 UTC

ahh but it is

2019-09-24 09:58:19 UTC

A woman is in it

2019-09-24 09:58:22 UTC

well it's just stuck it's nose in politics, which instantly strips it of any legitimacy

2019-09-24 09:58:34 UTC

No it stuck its nose in law

2019-09-24 09:59:10 UTC

Just lol if you follow the law in 2019 anyways

2019-09-24 09:59:38 UTC

No. The prorogation of parliament has never been a matter for the courts to decide in the entire history of our nation.

2019-09-24 09:59:48 UTC

Yes it is

2019-09-24 09:59:51 UTC

It's a legal matter

2019-09-24 10:00:26 UTC

it's not a matter for the courts. give me one instance other than this current prorogation where it has been.

2019-09-24 10:00:40 UTC

I'm about 60% towards general support of an armed uprising and lynching session. The only thing worse than political games stamping on democracy are laws doing it

2019-09-24 10:00:53 UTC

Something doesnt need to be challenged before to be a legal matter

2019-09-24 10:01:00 UTC

@system11 equally unhelpful

2019-09-24 10:01:16 UTC

Nothing is helpful, that's the point

2019-09-24 10:01:45 UTC

Yeah I don't think actively wanting to kill the politicians and judges is a good idea

2019-09-24 10:02:14 UTC

They clearly did it purely due to partisan reasons not legal ones, Prorogation has been used this way before in the past it is legal based on precedent they have only ruled against it because they oppose Johnson's government. It is an act of Judicial Overreach.

2019-09-24 10:02:55 UTC

Ahh yes moral fags

2019-09-24 10:03:04 UTC

The law is just making it up as they go along at this point

2019-09-24 10:03:13 UTC

There are no good ideas, you have 600 people and their pet weasels doing whatever the fuck they like and blocking an election unless it's on their terms

2019-09-24 10:03:14 UTC

You lot are fucking crazy

2019-09-24 10:03:14 UTC

i don't but only an idiot would say 'we're not leaving' 5 days before a national holiday celebrating a guy who tried to blow up all politicians.

2019-09-24 10:03:18 UTC

Well that is essentially how common law works

2019-09-24 10:03:25 UTC

To an extent

2019-09-24 10:03:33 UTC

Yes if crazy is caring about delivering democracy, we are the crazy ones

2019-09-24 10:03:56 UTC

arguably the action is unlawful if utilised for the wrong reasons, i.e. politicking, which is why they had to determine intent

2019-09-24 10:03:57 UTC

We really just need some more fanaticism from both sides in politics

2019-09-24 10:04:08 UTC

its a valid but annoying ruling
