Everyone should just back Boris at this point
I think there is a chance labor will be crippled in an election
I actually heard a story about corbyn
apparently one of the labor staffers who though Corbyn was amazing was walking through parliament and held the door open for him. He didn't thank her, and she ended up dropping everything she was carrying by trying to hold the door, and he just stepped over her without so much as glancing at her, she went off him a bit after that.
exactly
but it's kinda like the EU, they all think it's great, but only a handful get first hand experience, but when they do, they join us in calling out how bad it is.
Boris on the other hand, actually shared a lift with the staffer I know, and said to him in the lift 'ah you're on my floor, you're one of us, jolly good.'
he's just an all round decent human being unlike most other politicians right now.
saw it, it was great
somewhere in some parallel universe, the views of Brexit season three are beginning to question what the scriptwriters are thinking
gotta admit i was jealous of the staffer i know being in the thick of it, sadly he is just a pleb now like us all
the politicians are panicking, cummings has them on the run
hahaha they mustn't have realized that it was the British people they were talking about
it does, i genuinely think the internet might actually be the most dangerous weapon we've ever made
it's Pandora's box tho
the lid is off, all they have left is hope.
my mp is a drunk
I don't even need the internet to tell me that
but i would never have known which way he votes till now
naa, not even a big brother style system could chain the internet
yeah, it does make it much easier to educate yourself as to how your MP is actually acting
exactly
the only way to control the internet would be to destroy it.
ergo it cannot be chained
it is scary at times
yeah
yeah, ultimately it is good. Just a shame some people can't use it correctly.
like all the people playing with cancel culture atm.
as an engineer, i can tell you that is unbelievably true
mate, I'm trying to make a nerf gun in cad, I have no idea if it will work till i actually have the thing in my hands
yeah, electronics scares me hahaha
pretty much
hahaha yeah, that would be me, I chose mechanical so i wouldn't have to play with the electronics
all i need to know is that electricity is a thing and it can be used to power mechanical things i make
hahaha fair enough, that is pretty random, i was unaware you could even still get XP
that must actual be quite difficult in the modern age of internal wifi connectors
HAHHAHA
i know right
do i need to hand back my master degree now too?
hahaha that's what you need
the staffer i know is actually my brother
he is 100% leave
he actually convinced me to vote leave by educating me
he had a module on the EU at university and decided it was one of the most corrupt systems around atm and will fully explain it to anyone
and yes, London is a bubble
when you actually know people that deal with it you just laugh at the media, because you know it's all lies
wow really is it that bad over there?
yeah, i know, i actually worked at a post office for a few years
hahaha man, that's so backwards
haha yeah, tell you one that really knocked all my brothers london friends for a loop
he actually did a rasmus year in France, and they all say "but if we left you couldn't do that?!?"
and he just replies with "the rasmus scheme isn't actually attached to the EU, so actually I still could have done it"
yeah, it's like they don't realize working rights pretty much developed in the UK then spread out from us.
yeah, stuff like that happens sometimes, anyhow I have to be up early tomorrow so I'm gonna head off now, been nice chatting ๐
we also hold the record for the shortest war ever
Anglo-Zanzibar War, which lasted all of 38 minutes.
yeah, we supported one guy to be ruler. Then in a coup another guy very rudely raided the palace and declared himself ruler, so we politely asked him to stand down and get out of the palace, when he did not we destroyed everything and they instantly surrendered.
but yeah, we only had one guy wounded, and I believe that was due to an accident on our behalf, something fairly remedial like he fell over.
just leave Boris alone, let him and Dominic beat the EU at 4D chess in peace.
Do scotland!
poor Scotland
where's the discussion about the play Jeremy has stolen from the Stalin handbook and used on Tom Watson
The prorogation of parliament has been found unlawful by the clown court.
well it's just stuck it's nose in politics, which instantly strips it of any legitimacy
No. The prorogation of parliament has never been a matter for the courts to decide in the entire history of our nation.
it's not a matter for the courts. give me one instance other than this current prorogation where it has been.
i don't but only an idiot would say 'we're not leaving' 5 days before a national holiday celebrating a guy who tried to blow up all politicians.
we're crazy?!
we aren't trying to overthrow the democratic will of the people 5 days before the celebration of a man who tried to destroy all of parliament
we've played that game before, it won't end how you think it will
this is all just a mess.
I don't think that would fly somehow
queen can't say no
super unlucky
and he's in a fight to the death with remainers who are throwing everything and the kitchen sink at him
he'll go and ask
then out own MEPs will veto it
no, lets not have civil warr
the EU would have to vote on it
we are
still currently untill we actually leave
why do you think we have MEPs
i know, but until we actaully leave we're still part of it
the other options are France and some of the eastern EU states
bojo will not take it
he won't do it, he will fall on his sword before he does
yeah but nigel and cummings hate eachother
they are fighting against everyone tho
how can they win
they have no majority, they are playing every trick they can just to stay in the game
interesting choice
would get us instantly kicked out of the EU
we will never stop having optimism you tit
optimism is one thing we never have and never will be shot on.
EXACTLY!
they need to just step up to the court and say 'absolutely NOT.'
yougov polls are unreliable, you poll a bunch of people who actively signed up to be polled... no way that system could ever be easily broken by one demographic choosing to sign up to it.
yeah
that's the point. it's not unbiased
exactly
