What you're saying and what happens in practice are different.
De regulate cars
turn any city into bejing for smog
good one
Added extra.
Medieval Monarchies barely intervened in the economy and it worked to an extent
Except they were at war with themselves non stop
and others
i mean that's not necessarily true
however that was a mix of authoritarian regime too
and also in the middle ages there were intermediary organizations that intervened in the economy
like guilds
@The Electric Lizard and everyone was miserable except the nobles who could get away with anything they want
and property was often awarded based on service to the state
as in military service
Also in the middle ages we had things like...villains
Not comic book ones
people who were owned from birth by the lord of the manor
it's not really comparable to laissez faire capitalism too much, though you could say it's comparable to anarcho-capitalism in that the state itself was privately owned
Contract slavery is okay!
Don't get too happy
Just don't sign the contract!
Your ideology is at fault too
being a serf was often better than being a wage laborer
No no, mine is fine 🙂
though the degree to which serfdom sucked varied
It was the authortarianism of the lords that kept it going
among place and time
@Weez just don't be born to people I own because they were born to people my father owned because....
My ideology isn't just authoritarian 😉
your strongest one is
Exactly. Abort yourself. @killerqwerty
It was your choice to be born in the first place.
Slavery is an inherently free market authoritarian affair
Did someone say; **FREE MARKET?**
if I can't own 50 slaves the state is oppressing me
Extreme auth leads to the gov being overthrown and a libertarianism usually more extreme versions of it
same but opposite with extreme lib
Maintain a balance
