Just don't buy. Murder the current home owners and then commit identity fraud

2019-07-16 15:18:15 UTC

2019-07-16 15:18:21 UTC

Squatters should have no rights tbh

2019-07-16 15:18:27 UTC

Or just work hard and get your own house.

2019-07-16 15:18:50 UTC

like a good asian

2019-07-16 15:18:56 UTC

Suqatter rights make a lot of sense

2019-07-16 15:19:07 UTC

@Mikey - Problem is existing homeowners actively push for government policy to increase property values, and that usually takes the form of blocking new home construction (shutting off supply) or accepting more immigrants (increasing demand).

2019-07-16 15:19:10 UTC

here's how

2019-07-16 15:19:12 UTC

I should have the right to shoot squatters.

2019-07-16 15:19:15 UTC

bernie

2019-07-16 15:19:17 UTC

can still win

2019-07-16 15:19:19 UTC

You dont use or secure your property, then what claim do you really have?

2019-07-16 15:19:32 UTC

@Mikey if you get a no trespassing sign, you do

2019-07-16 15:19:33 UTC

I regret not buying a home much earlier 😦

2019-07-16 15:19:36 UTC

Otherwise people would just claim vast swathes of land

2019-07-16 15:19:41 UTC

Not in Scotland

2019-07-16 15:19:47 UTC

Home ownership rights should only be respected in terms of landowner's rights - that includes the right to build a house on your own land, as long as it's safe.

2019-07-16 15:19:51 UTC

Scotland you can trespass

2019-07-16 15:20:06 UTC

well scotlands a bitch boi country

2019-07-16 15:20:08 UTC

Local government should not be able to stop home construction unless it's legitimately unsafe, and even then only if it's a rental property.

2019-07-16 15:20:15 UTC

Nah

2019-07-16 15:20:18 UTC

now Im wondering if I should get a few btl's in scotland 😛

2019-07-16 15:20:23 UTC

The reason they do is aquifers

2019-07-16 15:20:26 UTC

I like my zoning laws

2019-07-16 15:20:28 UTC

renters can pay for my 14% investment 😛

2019-07-16 15:20:45 UTC

@Arthur Grayborn some buildings would absolutely ruin certain places if those were the only rules

2019-07-16 15:20:59 UTC

You can do serious damage to others and the environment at large by poorly planned housing

2019-07-16 15:21:24 UTC

the difference of the well planned new york city, to the sprawl of california

2019-07-16 15:21:25 UTC

@Spooky Melon - You could impose a style regulation as well, but there needs to be a clear set of rules where as long as you're compliant approval is super quick.

The problem is permit limbo, where you're waiting for 4-5 years to get approval to build like in San Francisco.

2019-07-16 15:21:46 UTC

New York City is kind of a mess tho
