They have a billion people, they don't need foreign workers.

2019-08-25 15:00:55 UTC

Regardless they will still be part of the global system

2019-08-25 15:01:08 UTC

And the UK isn’t China

2019-08-25 15:01:10 UTC

Which they could stop being a part of if they so wanted to.

2019-08-25 15:01:13 UTC

It’s nothing like China

2019-08-25 15:01:13 UTC

Sadly not.

2019-08-25 15:01:17 UTC

We have Democracy.

2019-08-25 15:01:18 UTC

So this is a pointless argument

2019-08-25 15:01:19 UTC

The thing holding us back.

2019-08-25 15:01:20 UTC

@SPOOKY Phil, Ruler of Heck I thought that a dick

2019-08-25 15:01:22 UTC

@PureEvilPie define globalism because I am confused. It seems to be this weird ideology, unless of course you’re talking about trade and movement of people

2019-08-25 15:01:23 UTC

imagine burning the lungs of the earth to farm cows

2019-08-25 15:01:32 UTC

Soldier

2019-08-25 15:01:34 UTC

We're bound by "international law"

2019-08-25 15:01:38 UTC

Globalism is the global system we are part of

2019-08-25 15:01:40 UTC

Another thing, holding us back.

2019-08-25 15:01:45 UTC

It’s as simple as that

2019-08-25 15:01:47 UTC
2019-08-25 15:01:49 UTC

We can’t get out of it

2019-08-25 15:01:50 UTC

China uses its power, we don't.

2019-08-25 15:01:57 UTC

most of the fires in the amazon region are farmers burning their farm lands, preparing for the next planting season, those farm lands aren't actually the amazon forest. Yes, some parts of the forest are burning, but it has been happening for a long time now, and the last week isn't even the fires peakk

2019-08-25 15:02:02 UTC

Food, foods, material, data, Labour

2019-08-25 15:02:05 UTC

It’s all shared across the world

2019-08-25 15:02:09 UTC

In different ways

2019-08-25 15:02:14 UTC

That’s globalism

2019-08-25 15:02:24 UTC

Food, goods*

2019-08-25 15:02:25 UTC

Easily stoppable for China.

2019-08-25 15:02:37 UTC

imagine defending the amazon fires

2019-08-25 15:02:43 UTC

Well... that’s held up by bretton woods, and I’m in America, we don’t have a lot of trade and are oil and natural gas independent

2019-08-25 15:02:51 UTC

bet you gonna post a tim pool vid next

2019-08-25 15:02:56 UTC

America has a shit load of trade

2019-08-25 15:03:03 UTC

And in data and software a lot

2019-08-25 15:03:19 UTC

why don't you go there 2k and do something about it?

2019-08-25 15:03:19 UTC

No, that's trade. By Globalism, everyone means illegally importing migrants for changes of demographics, not having national sovereignty, mixing cultures

2019-08-25 15:03:24 UTC

Lituania would be entirely reliant on a state that controlled Belarus and Poland. Strategically and economically. They are a non-issue. Plus, tbh, integral Lithuanian nationalism is dying out. And it was that nationalism that crafted the historiographical narrative of Lithuania as not a historical part of the same state as Poland. So assuming a strong (and non-abrasive) Poland, I don't see why relations shouldn;t be improving. Especially as the Soviet-minded elites die out.

2019-08-25 15:03:57 UTC

@PureEvilPie even if that’s the case, America protects everyone’s trading

2019-08-25 15:04:00 UTC

Remember that the "Lithuanian" in Polish-Lithuanian mostly referred to what we call Belarus today

2019-08-25 15:04:09 UTC

sure if yoy pay my ticket tbh

2019-08-25 15:04:13 UTC

What would happen if we stopped LARPing as world police man?

2019-08-25 15:04:23 UTC

Pulling out of NATO and bretton Woods
