The electronic enforcement and no hard border seems like pretty rational solution.

2019-08-27 12:56:50 UTC

*enforcement of tarifs

2019-08-27 12:56:59 UTC

Then freedom of movement between the UK and EU continues

2019-08-27 12:57:02 UTC

And nothing changes

2019-08-27 12:57:59 UTC

It will still be illegal to leave Ireland.

2019-08-27 12:58:09 UTC

to the wrong country

2019-08-27 12:58:21 UTC

What? 😂

2019-08-27 12:58:36 UTC

this isn't a real tweet right

EU citizen can travel freely within Ireland and NI, but not to GB

2019-08-27 12:59:21 UTC

It’s real. @leavethisbotnet

2019-08-27 12:59:24 UTC

GB citizen can go to Ireland but not to continental europe

2019-08-27 12:59:33 UTC

Then de facto leaving NI inside the EU

2019-08-27 12:59:56 UTC

We can go anywhere

2019-08-27 13:00:01 UTC

Freely too

2019-08-27 13:00:10 UTC

I hear Luxembourg has a powerful navy.

2019-08-27 13:00:12 UTC

At least until the 31st of October

2019-08-27 13:00:16 UTC

We can swim anywhere freely

2019-08-27 13:00:22 UTC

Or you can just limit this to residents of Ireland, not all EU citizens

2019-08-27 13:00:41 UTC

Then break one of the fundamental agreements of the EU.

2019-08-27 13:00:55 UTC

Which one?

2019-08-27 13:01:00 UTC

Free movement of people and labour throughout the whole Sczen

2019-08-27 13:01:02 UTC

I can’t spell it

2019-08-27 13:01:05 UTC

It’s foreign

2019-08-27 13:01:22 UTC

NI won't be in the EU, you moron

2019-08-27 13:01:30 UTC

therefore no freedom of movement to NI

2019-08-27 13:01:35 UTC

except for the Irish

2019-08-27 13:01:37 UTC

it's that simple

2019-08-27 13:02:01 UTC

@Ethreen42 She says Belgium in the current tweet and there are no archives, so who knows, yo

2019-08-27 13:02:39 UTC

ok good

2019-08-27 13:02:45 UTC

@leavethisbotnet But ROI will be

2019-08-27 13:02:53 UTC

Yes, and?

2019-08-27 13:03:07 UTC

And the ROI is part of the EU, thus the movement to Ireland continues

2019-08-27 13:03:19 UTC

Yes, but not NI

2019-08-27 13:03:30 UTC

Then what’s to stop people from just walking over the ‘electronic’ border?

2019-08-27 13:03:33 UTC

Nothing.

2019-08-27 13:03:43 UTC

a big beautiful wall

2019-08-27 13:03:44 UTC

The only way to stop that is through a hard border

2019-08-27 13:03:46 UTC

Weez, the point is making is that the UK can accept freedom of movement with Ireland and northern Ireland but nowhere else as we wont need to abide by EU regulations anymore. It'd then be down to the EU to grant the same freedom of movement to NI citizens to Ireland.

2019-08-27 13:03:53 UTC

Which breaks the Good Friday agreement

2019-08-27 13:03:57 UTC

If they refuse, it also puts the EU in a bad light <:smugon:512048583806025739>

2019-08-27 13:04:09 UTC

What stops people from doing that RIGHT NOW?
