It has 35 articles on Fundamental Rights, Citizenship and Social Goals, How exactly is that small?
Most of that comes from what? ...
Location, location, location.
Dumb, luck.
Then there's the resources under your feet.
Again, luck.
I tip my hat to you weez, from one legend to another
Also Switzerland isn't as free as the US
Not by a long shot
So if you are claiming that it has a strong state you are proving my point
I am reminded here of a chemistry proctor when I was an undergrad. She did not like my solution to a problem (I was in the habit of using matrices over algebra). She said my math was "wrong".
I asked was the answer correct?
Yes.
Is it an odd number question in the text?
Yes.
Is it accurate to two decimal places?
Yes.
Well mam if my math is wrong I am an incredibly good guesser.
@The Electric Lizard Wrong
They are wrong
Swiss anti-racism laws make it illegal to deny any genocide
That is a severe lack of freedom
The US does not have that
In 2007, Turkish politician Dogu Perincek was fined 3,000 Swiss francs after publicly denying the Armenian genocide while staying in Switzerland
They're not wrong.
They are claiming that a country with Speech codes are nearly as free as the US with no speech codes
I would say that that is wrong
I will admit that the Swiss are remarkably free for Europeans. They have guns. But again the Canton system does not lend itself to central state power.
Well, seems like more people disagree with you @The Electric Lizard
Well of course they do most major organisations support Hate Speech laws like the UN and the EU
But a State is not free in my view if they police speech
You should be allowed to deny genocides, because it **is** your opinion
If Wikipedia disagrees with you you are likely correct.........
criminalizing genocidal denial is honestly a minor form of thought policing
(for all I know, Person A actually doesn't BELIEVE that a genocide happened)
That is my point, the Swiss are not free because they are lacking in freedom of Speech whereas the US is not
Absolutely freedom includes the freedom to be wrong.
The Swiss are probably the most free in Europe but they are still not as free as the US
I don't understand your shitty cuneiform ripoff of a language
Serbian's honestly better-sounding
Imagine thinking Press Freedom is Problematic in America
in which direction?
don't forget that dicknut that bodyslammed a reporter with little to no provocation and got off functionally scot free
