I'd suggest Good Eats, old Alton Brown cooking show

2018-11-11 13:45:38 UTC

True, I mostly never hear anyone outside Louisiana mention roux

2018-11-11 13:45:46 UTC

it's where we learned about roux, very informative about the science and history of food/cooking

2018-11-11 13:46:30 UTC

When I was younger and learned about the fond and how to deglaze and cook with it that amped up my cooking game

2018-11-11 13:47:23 UTC

After leaving the gym me and my girl went to a buffet and I smashed on some protein lol.

2018-11-11 13:47:26 UTC

nice, yeah I'd still like to make a good beef burgundy, but haven't tried that before

2018-11-11 13:48:06 UTC

You’re making me hungry lol

2018-11-11 13:48:13 UTC

2018-11-11 13:48:16 UTC

2018-11-11 13:48:30 UTC

Bake at 250 degrees for an hour then reverse sear and baste in garlic herb butter

2018-11-11 13:51:40 UTC

reverse sear just means sear after the oven?

2018-11-11 13:52:10 UTC

Precisely

2018-11-11 13:52:24 UTC

looks delicious

2018-11-11 13:52:38 UTC

Thanks 😎😁

2018-11-11 16:00:34 UTC

yeah key is to limit rests between sets to 60 seconds no more

2018-11-11 16:00:52 UTC

gotta get as much blood to the muscles as possible since i don't do 'roids

2018-11-11 16:01:01 UTC

2018-11-11 17:02:50 UTC

I follow a 6 day program

Tuesday Lower body heavy
Wednesday Back and shoulders heavy
Thursday chest arms light
Friday lower body light
Saturday shoulders and back light
Sunday rest
1 hour of conditioning each working day.

2018-11-11 17:20:35 UTC

I want to buy some weights

2018-11-11 17:21:08 UTC

I'm an old guy, still wanna start pushing myself though

2018-11-11 17:36:34 UTC

I wouldn’t waste money on weights at home, even though I have a home gym. I should have just gotten a gym membership

2018-11-11 17:37:04 UTC

I spend 2grand on gym equipment at the house and my gym membership is only $3 bucks a month..

2018-11-11 17:37:34 UTC

And the gym has a plethora of equipment to use.

2018-11-11 17:53:44 UTC

I live in a suburb and have three underage children, unrealistic for me to think i'll get my money out of a gym membership

2018-11-11 17:54:23 UTC

also, when the boy hits the T stage, they'll be there for him too

2018-11-11 20:03:01 UTC

just get a barbell weights and dumbbells

2018-11-11 20:03:06 UTC

and a bench

2018-11-11 20:03:10 UTC

that's what i do

2018-11-11 20:03:34 UTC

kids can lift weights too - it's a myth that it stunts their growth

2018-11-12 01:15:01 UTC

Good point guys.

2018-11-12 01:15:21 UTC

Get a nice rack and barbell set. Some resistance bands and you’re set.
