Politics isn't about telling the truth it's about how good you can make a lie sound.
@cgbet is it Godly to use more than one screen name in the same YouTube Live chat in order to say "ban islam" or is that a dirty trick from the Hindus?
I don’t recall it pointing out Hinduism as one of them
The truth would be that the Bible is not the only channel to reach God. That’s part of the reason other religions exist.
@Sar interesting o:
there are contradictory statements in the bible. that's fine. people aren't supposed to worship books. however, there aren't any contradictions between the bible and the Bhagavad Gita that I have noticed. Also, God doesn't talk very much in the Bible as I recall. Also the Gita isn't "the bible" for Hindus, it's just a section from the longest poem ever written called "the Mahabharata" but it is without question, inspired and revealed. It's a miracle the text even exists. There's nothing "of satan" or demonic in it. In fact it describes the difference between righteous and demonic people. Again, no contradiction between Bhagavad Gita and Bible. @cgbet @Sar
here's documented contradictions in the Bible, to prove what I said earlier, although I am not against the Bible. Scriptures are meant to compliment each other and support faith. https://infidels.org/library/modern/donald_morgan/contradictions.html
Exactly @J_G_
Tell em brother <:redpilled:466843692108349441>
People who think the bible has contradictions have never studied the bible
Proverbs says "do not rebuke a fool", then the next verse says "rebuke a fool". Everywhere there are male nouns with female verb conjugations, misspellings, and other "mistakes". It's not a fairy tale, it's a codex.
If the face value of something is profound to you, it's not from the real creator. I don't doubt an angel could have inspired it, but the angels of this world are truth mixed with falsehood
If your fairy tales help you become moral, good, I've never tried to stop you
If every time the Hindus said the word Lord you thought about Jesus Christ, then you would have nothing to be afraid of.
It is said that the way is narrow, but if you actually make it to the point of faith then you wouldn't be so scared of other perspectives on the same God. The thing is Bible Thumpers are basically just like artificial intelligence, reading a script and following through with commands but robots don't really understand what they're doing. Or why are there doing it. God's children understand because they're made in His image. They can find God in the desert they could find God in the snow and they could find God in deep space.
And furthermore, as far as the historical accuracy versus the quote un quote Fairy Tale goes, there is no such thing as the past or the future. God is in the present.
True, that’s when the ego is clearly involved. If other religions frighten you, that says something about you & your faith
why bother with all that spiritual knowledge when the Deity could have just invented Shoot Em Up video games instead?
or candy crush
whats up with their faces
BG 6.6: For those who have conquered the mind, it is their friend. For those who have failed to do so, the mind works like an enemy.
That made me think of a fortune cookie right there lol.
The Bhagavad Gita is wonderful. I’ll post a picture of my copy when I get home.
If God would write an honest straight forward bible personally, in one go, rather than a curated list of several pamphlets, I would imagine it would be like the Bhagavad Gita. It should satisfy the most religious person as well as the most scientific person.
The Mahābhārata is a series of pamphlets. The Law (Septuagint) was "in one go", and can satisfy the religious and scientific alike.
Everything else is just commentary on the Law
Never heard of the Septuagint
That's cool. It's just weird that people run around believing that God Is monopolized by a certain text rather than God being the inspiration of those cherished scriptures.
where is evil located?
Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.

What is your definition of virtue?
a value that has made it's way into your life to the point it you are guided by it, like a code of honor
@noobpocket the root word 'vir' means man in latin.
