Repost from general discussion: I forgave my mother today. She said she “accepts my apology “. Interesting because my forgiveness wasn’t an apology for her to accept. I think that I failed because she thinks that I’m the one who’s wrong because I held anger and resentment towards her. I honestly don’t know how to proceed from here. Do I go through the process again to explain she’s the one who caused me to be that way since she didn’t get it the first time?
