I grew up in a baptist church but didn't learn that.

My father only came to visit me ONCE. During that visit, he said to me, "I'm not your father, I am just your friend, okay? I am not your daddy." She told him to leave. She did everything she could. He treated her like crap.

He was an older married man where even his sons tried to mess with her.

She never talked about him to me or said anything bad about him.

I tried finding your call that day but I only found it in the description on the video. I looked forva while but gave up when i couldn't find it.

@Deleted User I feel for you. My father is more a stranger than anything. In the case with him, *some* of it may have been what Jesse says, that he couldn’t stand my mom... but at the same time, my mom always encouraged him to come see me growing up, she never tried to keep me away yet he always chose not to. Meanwhile he was with a new woman since I was 2 and was taking care of her sons and being a father to them. It doesn’t make any sense

I have to fly to Iowa to forgive my mother - haven't seen her since I was 6 years old - although I saw her once when I was 18 but it was very brief

@Stopvegans Yes he is 80. I tried calling him and left him a voicemail. I already came to terms with it in my heart but I want to talk to him about it.

I’m also trying to see if I can get in contact with my dad to forgive him, but his side of the family are mostly drug addicts...(he was) I don’t really know how to get into contact so I’ll hope someone reaches out to me
