I don't have anything against veganism, I have some against people saying "all meat" and forcing shit down my throat literally

2019-09-30 18:43:39 UTC

Red meat is an exotic meat in my mind and shouldn't be eaten daily. But I do it anyway sometimes

2019-09-30 18:43:44 UTC

that I agree

2019-09-30 18:43:48 UTC

well yeah

2019-09-30 18:44:12 UTC

Fish and Chicken is no problem unless there is something I don't know.

2019-09-30 18:44:18 UTC

but for me, if we can't find a benefit for humans (humans come first), then it becomes redundant to cause mass suffering of lesser beings

2019-09-30 18:44:49 UTC

I'm on the fence about fish, its moreso the mercury, PCBs and dioxins from contaminated waters

2019-09-30 18:45:09 UTC

I don't think it's that much of a problem for us Scandinavians

2019-09-30 18:45:18 UTC

Tuna, rather not.

2019-09-30 18:45:29 UTC

fish aren't as concious as cows, pigs, ect.

2019-09-30 18:45:50 UTC

I can agree with that, they are like ants. Made to reproduce and do whatever their biology tells them to do.

2019-09-30 18:46:01 UTC

well I wouldnt go that far lol

2019-09-30 18:46:21 UTC

See I eat honey because you're not gonna convince me that a bee experiences suffering in the same way a dog does

2019-09-30 18:47:06 UTC

It's ethics.

2019-09-30 18:48:11 UTC

we have to draw the line somewhere

2019-09-30 18:48:43 UTC

but I think when it comes to human health, fiber, folate, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin A, phytonutrients ect. are all extremely important

2019-09-30 18:49:15 UTC

Thus, most people who shift from SAD to plant based experience massive shifts in blood pressure, cholesterol, ect.

2019-09-30 18:49:36 UTC

Yeah, replace potatoes with vegetables, replace bread with fiber rich vegetables and nuts etc, replace red meat with leaner meats

2019-09-30 18:49:49 UTC

yeah you'll be healthy if you do that

2019-09-30 18:50:16 UTC

see refined carbs spike insuline and glucose, but low GI carbs have a stabalizing effect on blood sugar

2019-09-30 18:50:31 UTC

I get quite the stomach ache if I eat a bit too much red meat

2019-09-30 18:50:39 UTC

I can eat a 300 calory can of beans in the morning and be full until 7:00 at night

2019-09-30 18:50:47 UTC

its powerful stuff.

2019-09-30 18:51:00 UTC

the fiber and water of the food, the low caloric density

2019-09-30 18:51:03 UTC

I dropped 50 lbs

2019-09-30 18:51:10 UTC

i'm bulking

2019-09-30 18:51:27 UTC

yeah so you must fo chicken breast

2019-09-30 18:51:38 UTC

vegans have to do tempeh, tofu, beans, lentils

2019-09-30 18:51:57 UTC

there's tradeoffs to everything

2019-09-30 18:53:35 UTC

most people think that vegetarian food is just salads, raisins or whatever boring white people stuff. But in reality, there are tons of better ways to make vegan/vegetarian foods, like say Indian, my favorite, Any sort of Asian Really. I kinda cringe when I see vegans force watered lettuce down their throat when they could have bought a much more, I don't know, less dry option? spices and etc.

2019-09-30 18:53:43 UTC

xd

2019-09-30 18:54:18 UTC

plus, iceburg lettuce has like no nutritional value compared to spinach, swiss chard, kale, beat greens, collards, ect.

2019-09-30 18:54:29 UTC

exactly lmao

2019-09-30 18:54:53 UTC

spices are insane for antioxidant capacity

2019-09-30 18:55:07 UTC

especially cloves

2019-09-30 18:55:33 UTC

if i'm going vegan/vegetarian i'm going Asian basically.

2019-09-30 18:56:08 UTC

if a country is accustomed to vegetarian/vegan food, then their food will be good for sure.

2019-09-30 18:56:20 UTC

yeah

2019-09-30 18:56:50 UTC

I commented expecting an argument but this seems pretty reasonable.

2019-09-30 18:58:00 UTC

i'm right in between, my friends always be talking about how they want "meat" and no libtard can take their "burgers" and i'm like, "have you ever tried indian bro?" first your taste buds and then the toilet. Totally worth it. Endless possibilities

2019-09-30 19:11:26 UTC

There isnt actually any science to support non animal protien diets, or the idea that red meat is bad for you
