@tea_in_space the only 50 MT weapon ever built was the tsar bomba, and it was too large to transport and had to be constructed on site, the largest warheads capable of being fitted to an ICBM are around 9 MT

@Sir Of Meep technically all the carbon in humans has already been pulled out of the atmosphere through plants so it's already carbon neutral.
Once a tree is fully grown the carbon in via photosynthesis will be roughly equal to the carbon out via respiration.
So the best way to get rid of carbon is to plant a tree, wait until it grows to it’s full height, cut it down and store it in a place were the carbon won’t be released into the atmosphere (that would be the tricky part).
