its oky im pretty good at it lol
Fick das Spiel und die Entwickler, die es gemacht haben!
but it has its bugs and stuff that make me wanna burn my pc
Yea, Squad has really seen a big dip in match quality since this years sale marathon.
I dont enjoy Squadleading very much anymore.
PS' playerbase may be kinda smallish by now, but the players that stayed usually know what they do.
Kinda like in PR.
Ja that's the problem when a playerbase grows too fast
Especially for a game in Squad's subgenre
Imagine SQUAD but it's in real life and in South Africa and we're deposing the government and throwing the ANC out of Helicopters
It's not a typical FPS such as Call of Duty and Battlefield where no communication and teamwork is involved in any way.
The general lack of community wide enforced rules (like in PR) and the lack of admins in general also dont really help getting the shit players out of game asap.
In Squad theyll get kicked, find one of 1000 servers with no rules or admins and stick.
Ja the lack of "community policing" is an issue too. There only really used to be that one guy that took marksmen role and no microphone just get his sweet kills. Nowadays half the squad if not the entire team is that one guy...
Anyway hopefully Squad's community reforms back to its old self it should anyway as I don't see the mic-less lone wolfing guys staying very long
especially if/when buddy rally goes. As that in my opinion is what really is ruining the gameplay right now
No incentive to use transport vehicles at all.
Except for the beginning of the match. But once you're in the thick of it. No point in calling in a helicopter or truck to pick you up when it is far easier and less dangerous to just pop a new rally on squad 2's rally and there we go instant teleport across the map to the next objective.
Big mistake in game design there in my opinion.
Agree 100%
Well if it doesn't go in vanilla it'll definitely go in the Border War mod as reliance on vehicles at least for the SADF side is paramount otherwise it'll be impossible to replicate the tactics of the SADF
That and less of an incentive to stick to fucking cover after getting revived, because you can be picked up anyhow.
They reduced downtimes to get a more action oriented crowd in, but also mitigated any "risk" that comes with getting shot... the *long* time until you get into action again.
So yea... they shot the gameplay loop in both legs imho
Otherwise I can see Buffels and Casspirs sitting empty all over the map because players have abandoned them to spawn on buddy rallies.
Indeed dead dead needs a comeback. That has also broken gameplay quite a bit
Because you can't "permanently" wipe out a threat like you could before. That sniper holding down your entire squad? Can take him out but he'll be back up in seconds provided he has a spotter with him.
I do miss the headshots that meant straight to the spawn screen same with high explosives. Ah well hopefully those do make a comeback.
A bit late to the squad chat, but my latest peeve is the amount of L R spam leaning I'm seeing. I ran into at least 6 players this weekend that would lean back and forth super quick whenever I shot at them. In some instance they managed to kill me :/
