I fail to see how this is a good thing, how about reduce restrictions on what types of guns you can have, but to allow concealed carry WITHOUT A PERMIT, seems to be rewarding or benefiting criminals who dont obey laws. How hard would it it be to get a permit? Conceal carry with a permit is a better option in my opinion

definitely, the white house mostly wants to shut down FL because FL is one of the few states everyone is looking at and moving to with the least restrictions also with medium covid cases and less deaths (proving the narrative wrong). Biden wants to make an example out of FL of what happens if you go against the white house. So, Biden is planning to restrict travel anywhere out of FL and make FL submit. If Biden does do that, Desantis said he will use FL national guard to protect traveling Floridians.
As you have pointed out, "criminals don't obey laws" and so, won't bother to get a permit if required but will still (and do) carry a gun anyway. The SCOTUS ruled in the Heller case that the "keep and bear" means "possess and carry" firearms. In keeping with the Constitution's 2nd Amendment, that right "SHALL NOT be infringed". This means that to require a permit to lawfully carry a weapon infringes on the right of the people to "keep and bear arms". I stress "Shall not" in this case because there is a distinction in law between "Shall" (or shall not) and "May" (or may not). Shall, as used here is definitive and means that something will (or will not) occur where "may" means that it is optional based on other criteria. In essence, what you are proposing is to punish, by requiring a permit, law abiding citizens for doing what a criminal is going to do anyway, because they don't care what the law says. I hope my explanation here has provided you with a bit of insight.
