But you can get a dog for that.
I have a dog. Not for that.
I was friend's with a girl in college who had epilepsy. She had a service dalmatian trained to respond/alert her of conditional changes.
I get a minute or two of warning.
He's trained to tell her when somethings going to happen and also to make sure she's not going to knock her head or choke.
Animals are freaking amazing.
Learning about, what, service dogs who are trained to sense when their owners blood sugar drops for diabetes? the fact dogs can connect that close with someone is insane.
Animals can be amazing, yes.
Well-developed senses are op, change my mind π
Anyone down for a sprint?\
I havenβt named this poem but i think it encapsulates the current state of the people it goes like this
βMe and my fellow countrymen have seen this government become tyrannical
For this we all know there is only one way through their thick hearts of coal
So if it comes down to it, we will fight them on the beach
We will fight them in the streets
And in our tweets
We will fight until our hearts cease to beat
Not because we hate authority
Because the people deserve to be free
And the only thing they fear is the free people like you and me.β
time to turn it into a song
Where's the rhyming though? I see a little bit but in some parts there is none.
Like how does Thick hearts of coal rhyme with tyrannical π€
Yea I couldnβt think of anything that rhymes with tyrannical that fit the context
but then that basically ruins the poem, cause poems gotta rhyme man
rhymezone might have something there, I dunno
Rhymezone makes it alot easier tho
Iβve had the tweet and street thing stuck in my head for months I only just now came up with the rest of the poem
I didnβt intend for it to be put to music as it really was made for a short speech more than anything
The heart of this idea lies in its lore and the spectacle of it all. It's more akin to Moulin Rogue (which I ironically half hate).
I don't even know what time period to set it in
Is there a way to jump right into (or right before) a moment of action without trying to set stuff up? Just enter into the world?
@MofoDoggo , about your pinned piece -- is it the start of something big, a short story, a middle piece of something? -- just so I know how to read it for accurate feedback.
