I took my little brothers to go see Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom at our local theater today

Straight up my younger little brother started laughing when they started whipping the protagonist for not drinking cursed blood and me and my other sibling just started awkwardly laughing and IDK why but like
I think it was genuine on the youngest kid's part and I'm questioning my safety

I was like
"Bro there's a kid getting whipped in front of his role model who is also being whipped" and he was like
LOL

I'm afraid for my life

It's a good movie but holy crap is it dark
