Happy to hear it

2021-03-05 06:37:53 UTC

I can still post articles, right?

2021-03-05 06:47:23 UTC

I believe so

2021-03-05 06:53:06 UTC

@dbel I forgot to ask, how are you doing? You asked me so it's only polite.

2021-03-05 06:53:59 UTC

šŸ˜Š I appreciate you asking! Iā€™m doing pretty well, probably going to sleep soon unless you have stuff youā€™d like to chat about!

2021-03-05 16:49:07 UTC

2021-03-05 17:51:09 UTC

It's like a pyramid scheme for meme

2021-03-05 18:01:10 UTC

Is that kid even old enough to go to high school?

2021-03-05 18:26:41 UTC

lmaoo

2021-03-05 18:44:41 UTC

Hereā€™s a debate:

2021-03-05 18:45:00 UTC

Should the Church allow LGBTQ members?

2021-03-05 18:45:06 UTC

I say no

2021-03-05 18:49:07 UTC

By grace you have been saved through Faith, not as a result of works, but a gift of God

2021-03-05 18:49:34 UTC

Works are a result of salvation. Salvation is not a result of works.

2021-03-05 20:08:29 UTC

Should the church tolerate people who believe that killing people is moral?

2021-03-05 20:09:08 UTC

Should the church allow people who do not agree with fundamental beliefs in the church?

2021-03-05 20:10:16 UTC

If your answer to any of those questions are yes, your wrong.

2021-03-05 20:11:44 UTC

And I dare ANYONE to show me I am wrong with logic.

2021-03-05 20:15:26 UTC

Itā€™s not plus itā€™s spam plus showing that you love Jesus doesnā€™t require that photo šŸ˜‚

2021-03-05 20:16:27 UTC

Killing people isnā€™t always wrong though. While I would say itā€™s almost always a tragedy there are many cases where killing people is acceptable or needed

2021-03-05 20:17:37 UTC

Even in Ecclesiastes 3 we see that there is a time even for war

2021-03-05 20:19:40 UTC

For intent of my argument, they are not talking about self defence. They beleive that killing people is perfectly justified and okay.

2021-03-05 20:57:24 UTC

So James 2:24 means nothing?

2021-03-05 21:10:49 UTC

I would also like to mention that there have been ā€œreligious peopleā€ that werenā€™t all that good of people and used their faith to defend their beliefs and their acts

2021-03-05 21:12:29 UTC

Those are people who use their "faith" purely as a crutch to justify themselves, ans morally browbeat others. At all other times you will never see them claiming to be so faithful, not that they acted out anything proper in the first place

2021-03-05 21:16:41 UTC

Thatā€™s not always true

2021-03-05 21:17:18 UTC

Your more so describing someone like Hitler, claimed to be Christian but secretly slandered them

2021-03-05 21:18:15 UTC

There are also plenty of moral busybodies in the regular world...

2021-03-05 21:26:24 UTC

What about the Spanish Inquisition? They seemed awfully religious. They thought what they were doing was for the betterment of the Church. Or literally any of the Popes that had sex or did things against the church. Or those in the early church who taught things contrary to what the church taught. All religious and faithful, but most people donā€™t considered them as good people

2021-03-05 21:51:15 UTC

James 2:24 is talking about works being evidence of saving faith.
