Please post humanitites related interesting articles, things you are learning at school, or other humanities discussion here!
One thing I've wondered is that if the AltRight ever needed to avoid using English or other language with a lot of POZzed speakers to avoid interruption, what language would we write things in? I was thinking maybe Latin 😁
Irish
^^
Was going to suggest German, but, you know
We have Irish studies in the Pagan server.

Aye we have an Irish language section as well
I ain't pagan but Irish seems like a fun language to learn
Irish is like white people arabic
I can try doing some basic lessons here but I’m not quite sure how that would work
I lean closer to that than typical Germanic, Celtic, Norse etc
@Kingfish No, we are focused on Germanic, Celtic, and Slavic (Baltic in the future, if requested).
What is your heritage?
I'm not sure if there is a server that covers those.
Ah that’s alright!
There is quite a bit of literature mostly on the myths and legends of Roman/Greek paganism I have found very little on the actual practice of that form
Yeah I’m not looking to directly practice the state cult practices but more discuss the nature of their spirituality etc
I have a lot of literature on it
Mostly myths and what not
But if we don’t have a southern euro/med server I’d be more than happy to start one
The mythos is great centered heavily on honor myths = the saga of such a people
Absolutely
Just the works of Virgil and homer establish most of the core of who we are as a people
Seems like all native euro religions share much in common with each other despite being enemies at times
They absolutely do. However the Norse Germanic and Celtic are closer than the Greco Roman ones, which is interesting because those same differences were maintained once both Northern and Southern Europe converted
