The profileration of plastic and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
In Suicide of a Superpower Buchanan calls out the West for "abandoning" Ian Smith in Rhodesia and South Africa
dang
Need good books on mythology
And has anyone read Birth of the West?
Ian Smith did nothing wrong
Lady Gregory's Irish mythology is the definitive book on the subject @Deleted User
Tfw your friends won't read Kaczynski because he bombed some people
@Solipsistic Vinarchy Said you liked Buchanan you read the Uneccesssary War
Fellas losing the reading motivation
How do you keep it up when you’re not feeling it
take a break
or get a book that really fascinates you
even better if its a short one
Just got my hands on The American Caesar, about Douglas MacArthur
Wheee
he was a badass
He or Patton, rather than Eisenhower should've ran for President tbh
On trade and China
Has anyone here read The Vanishing American Dream by Virginia Abernathy
Virgin 1984 vs Chad Brave New World
@Trumpster1899 no is it good
Yes I am currently reading it, it illustrates the problem of mass immigration, population pressure, social cohesion etc.
It's a really detailed book, citing hundreds of research studies
noice
@sbbu Good starting point if you’re serious

@GG The Rat King does focus more on biography or napoleonic wars?
i need some reccs for the wars
@Callaghan iv read a good bit on him before and it's mainly focused on napoleon so it covers more the parts of the wars he's involved with so the seige of toulon , the Italian campaigns in the 2nd and 3d wars of the coalition's and invasion of Egypt after that napoleon's in full control so it in detail covers all the subsequent wars
@Callaghan the book uses a large database of napoleon s letter to bring alot of new context to him, many historians either turn napoleon into a 1d villian or a saint a this new series of books I find does about to scrutinise these and give a clear picture if your looking for more military history maybe try David g chandler he's English so he might be abit biased but he served in the army briefly so he come at it with that type of view
