for dummies i would reccomwend an ak its way harder to break and way easier to clean

ars have amuch higher learning curve

both are fun

ar bits are easier to get and more plentiful

ammo is alos a tiny bit cheaper

but i love AKS

ar mags are also more plentiful

so in a disaster scenario its really weighted in both directions both are amazing
