I think the reason Monday shows do better is because it’s been basically 4 days without the regular show (Friday doesn’t really count) so people either miss it or want your take on the news whereas in the week it’s not as big a deal to miss like a Wednesday if you caught Tuesday’s

Also the fact that not many other live shows are going on and it’s the start of the school/work week so people may not have many deadlines to deal with. Not many tests/projects due on Tuesday mornings

Wanting to wind down + missing the show + nothing else going on probably contributes much to viewership
