IT and creating a payment processor from scratch are *vastly* different. The capital needed to create such things would be yuge.

@Reinhard Wolff Also, here's a thought: when Comcast stock inevitably tanks during a recession, it would be very nice to be able to buy a lot of it. If we can have IE members become major shareholders at some point, then that would be very nice.

If things do come down to whomever owns IP's, then being able to throw money around might be a good idea.

If we're buying media shares, might get more bang for buck buying up Christian media.
