lol

2018-04-26 05:57:00 UTC

UBI has been tried now, didn't work.

2018-04-26 05:57:27 UTC

inb4 the commies claim Finland isn't real socialism anymore.

I was septictal of UBI

will give that a read later

2018-04-26 06:18:23 UTC

Thia can work in countries with small population

2018-04-26 06:18:28 UTC

But with small amounts

2018-04-26 06:18:31 UTC

I guess

2018-04-26 06:19:55 UTC

Real UBI has never been tried!

2018-04-26 06:20:18 UTC

Lol

2018-04-26 06:20:39 UTC

lol

2018-04-26 06:20:44 UTC

They should try it again, with double the amount.

2018-04-26 06:20:52 UTC

why not triple?

2018-04-26 06:21:00 UTC

Yeah, that's totally what I said

2018-04-26 06:21:00 UTC

or quadruple?

2018-04-26 06:21:03 UTC

<:think_woke:378717098681171988>

2018-04-26 06:21:17 UTC

If it works for n, why not for n+1?

2018-04-26 06:21:39 UTC

Because with n+1 it's not doable

2018-04-26 06:22:07 UTC

And you don't want to give an amount that will possibilitates to sit on their asses for the rest of their lives

2018-04-26 06:22:29 UTC

A small amount like 100 euros, just something to go to a movie or something should be doable

2018-04-26 06:28:30 UTC

There is a trick about welfare... It's doable and it should be done? Yeah, but it can't be with a high amount of money and it needs a certain amount of regulations.

If the Finnish government want to give money to people, they probably can, but it had to be something that's not possible for someone to live with that, it's the same thing with welfare, it has to be something that it's not possible to live solely with that, or else you create a situation where people will join the system just to take advantage of it

@Deleted User @DanielKO

2018-04-26 06:29:09 UTC

or just don't do it

2018-04-26 06:30:10 UTC

Maybe, but it's fair to help people who contributed into the system when they need

2018-04-26 06:58:44 UTC

@Deleted User He wrote n+1, I’m fucking triggered.!!!!

2018-04-26 06:59:57 UTC

no shit sherlock

2018-04-26 09:44:58 UTC

ehehehe

2018-04-26 09:45:02 UTC

Admittedly

2018-04-26 09:45:04 UTC

I don't like UBI

2018-04-26 09:45:29 UTC

but the n / n+1 argument is actually valid in this case since the basic cost of living is a more-less fixed sum

2018-04-26 09:47:15 UTC

so eg. if the cost of one-room rent, food, clothing and transport comes out to 300 bucks a month

2018-04-26 09:47:27 UTC

there's a huge difference between UBI of say 100 bucks and of 400
