It's more about the fact they have now set a precedent for searching peoples DNA via ancestry style websites.

I'm really skeptical of them suddenly finding some revolutionary forensics method out of thin air, considering so much has been denounced recently as being absolutely bogus.

I've always been really interested cause I want to see exactly where my heritage is from going back further then I already know, but this kind of shit just puts me off it. The potential crazy shit they could do with your DNA.

Especially since they just have it kept on file, no telling if they delete it even if you request them to.

When I looked at a lot of tests on YouTube it was mostly non-whites doing the tests wanting to find out information about where they are from
