Bake the cake big.... oh wait
I agree with this ruling.
Same here
I think a lot of people miss the point of it being about compelled speech.
Most people I talk to about this case, and others like it, ignore, or for most of them are unaware, that the bakery would be fine with baking a cake for the gay couple, but they are allowed to refuse to put any message or symbol on the cake.
I hate this argument
I'm stoked about the ruling.
I wouldn't even mind if people refused service for someone based on any of those other statistics
word would quickly get 'round
*"Being gay is covered by freedom of religion"* <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
I've been in support of that as well before @Reaps, I am currently unsure where I stand on that.
"Bake me a cake"
"no"
"why"
"I don't want to"
"NOT GOOD ENOUGH GIVE ME A REEEEEEEEEASON"
anti-discrimination laws in general are shitty, and only serve to cause people to lie about why they're discriminating
mm.
which causes more resentment than would have otherwise existed
laws don't change opinions
opinions can change law

"hey guys, we just outlawed racism! now noone is racist anymore!"
"...huh."
we should pin this. well said.
the intention of anti-discrimination laws isn't to make people less bigoted, but to give discriminated classes the means of oppressing others via government force
nawwwww, you don't say
doesn't stop him from being a statist thot
statist thots get out, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>the intention of anti-discrimination laws isn't to make people less bigoted, but to give discriminated classes the means of oppressing others via government force
>admitted to being a statist thot

It's amazing to me that people in positions of power can't understand this
@Deleted User you should go to the Philipines and live with bush girls on your ancap territory.
they do understand it
I mean, when we were kids, I'm sure we all had that experience where we resented our parents for someTHING they forced us to do, or told us not to say
All it did was aggravate us
the aggravation is intentional and by design
