Honestly, I think people purity spiral too hard about how feelings are better than facts. Yes, facts by themselves will only convince a very small group of people, but emotions by themselves will only convince retards. Obviously you shouldn't sit there and name off statistics while people just want you to shut up already, but, you should be able to justify what you are saying with facts when necessary.

This idea that we should just *shun* fact based argument is incredibly counter productive
