getting the right animals takes generations as well
lands taxed less if it's a "farm"
@JC I'd be feeding redpills if I had that job lol
I'll make it work
if you want a functioning dairy farm it takes generations to get the right stock
@VinceChaos Most of them scored below an 18 on the ACT, so they were lucky to get any pills at all.
Lamb, chicken, vegetables. That's it. Solar power. Well-water.
and for the most part you cant make money with livestock. its cheaper to buy milk or meat than it is to own and slaughter your own.
It won't be my main income..
its probably cheaper to hunt it, but raising it is expensive when time is capitalized
I'm talking like 100 acres of fertile soil. Plains and forest.
@JC I don't remember the scale for that test but it sounds barely 100 IQ level
how much does 100 acres cost in WA??
<:nervous:359009898115104770>
Too much. F washington
@Nemets I've always had in the back of mind to collect a list of very clear "outsider managerial classes brought in" so if any come to mind I ask if you can please message them to me. no reference needed I'll google it if you can name it
@VinceChaos Basically. You can pretty well just guess and get an 18
diversity school? @JC
@VinceChaos The class was laden with 'athletes'. It was a former Big 10, now SEC school. Sad
I won't be buying land in Washington state
@JC We had plenty of "athletes" at my art school (no bully). They showed up half the time, and were dumb as a box of rocks...but still passed somehow. <:really:453005408064241674> And this was at a D3 art school...
@JC "Our second one is due in March. We've quit even trying to afford them and are just going to keep making them." That's awesome
>art school

@Asatru Artist - MD There is just nothing that can be done to stop it. They bring in money at most universities. If not from people buying merch or whatever, then from boosters.
@Deleted User WA is a no income tax state right?
I think it is no property tax. Income tax still is a thing though
@ThisIsChris We do well enough and live in a rural area and have some land, so we have it pretty well made in that regard. We put off children until we graduated college, then until we had careers, then until we built a home...we finally just quit putting them off and now are going for the gusto.
@JC It was so frustrating seeing these Basketball-American's getting a free ride at a school that was costing the rest of us $25k/yr while they sit around popping bubble gum, barely being able to read.
Muh less care about art...
sheit mufugga i be getting that paper
@Asatru Artist - MD welcome to liberal America
@JC that's great to hear, we're kind of finishing step 2 and skipping step 3
@Asatru Artist - MD And it's just a fact that if they aren't paying for the education they aren't going to value you at as much as others. However, there were some athletes that worked very hard, but that didn't mean they belonged in college with their intellect and education.
@ThisIsChris None of it is as important as just being stable in general.
value it*
@JC Oh, I don't discount the D1 school athletes as far as their athletic merits go, but to be at a D3 art school getting a free ride...come on...
I like to call these "athletes" Basketball-Americans. Very respectful
the blegs
Literally useless to ahve a bunch of freeloading Basketball-Americans at that school.
@Asatru Artist - MD haha for sure. But the majority of D1 athletes still don't belong in university for what it's worth.
