I've been in many conversations with people where I'm describing a position, and I make it clear I am describing it, and they go on to continue treating it as if I am supporting what I am describing.
Describing doesn't necessarily mean I support it, it's just important to understand many positions aside from your own.

Hello everyone, I have an idea for a long video/essay/video series for sargon which I think is monumentally important: gamergate. From everything I've learned about the culture war, it seems that gamergate is the first major 'campaign' in the war, but I got into the skeptic (now anti-progressive) community a few months after it all happened, so I don't know exactly what happened. I think it would be very beneficial to explain the whole conflict from the anti-progressive side, because the general consensus seems to be anti-GG, despite many of the articles about this being horseshit.
