Becoming something of a socialite can also just make you a better more well rounded person lmao

2018-10-28 02:09:37 UTC

Civic groups (Kiwanis, Elks, Rotary, Lions) and Church is a less complicated way of doing that (and also a way of gaining influence for Identitarianism)

2018-10-28 02:09:39 UTC

I can only be socially pleasant for a limited time and then I have to recharge

2018-10-28 02:09:40 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN yeah, so interesting. I always wonder why governments don't confiscate foreign owned land more often

2018-10-28 02:09:59 UTC

@ThisIsChris That would require the government to not facilitate and benefit from such land sales.

2018-10-28 02:10:44 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN yeah it's a lot to think about sometimes

2018-10-28 02:10:46 UTC

yeah its probably due to how corporate centric everything is. dont want to spook anyone.

2018-10-28 02:11:03 UTC

But I would like to have more of a social life. My coworkers aren't really the types I wanna hang out with too much

2018-10-28 02:11:30 UTC

Corporate personhood must be overturned. Unless corporate personhood also means entire corporations can be jailed, as a person can be...

2018-10-28 02:11:39 UTC

@Sherlock same, as @Wood-Ape - OK/MN mentioned Civic groups and church/religious groups are good

2018-10-28 02:11:46 UTC

I work in IT so all they talk about are video games

2018-10-28 02:11:50 UTC

Or magic the gathering tournaments

2018-10-28 02:12:15 UTC

yeah corporate IT is mega gay

2018-10-28 02:12:27 UTC

A guy at the bar last night was telling me there's some comic shop around here where some people meet up and play board games

2018-10-28 02:12:30 UTC

I might do that

2018-10-28 02:12:35 UTC

Board games > video games

2018-10-28 02:12:47 UTC

@Sherlock true, it's a start

2018-10-28 02:12:50 UTC

Many civic groups have weekly lunch meetings, and then monthly or every-orther monthly events.
Church activities of course vary by church. Some have a wholesome family event nearly every day, others are more reserved and just do sunday worship.

2018-10-28 02:13:16 UTC

Sorry for being retarded but what is a civic group

2018-10-28 02:13:26 UTC

@Sherlock oh actually a good one to do is night classes. Girls go to these as well

2018-10-28 02:13:26 UTC

you mean like civnat?

2018-10-28 02:13:30 UTC

@Sherlock Kiwanis, Rotary Club, Lions, Elk Lodge

2018-10-28 02:13:37 UTC

Oh ok

2018-10-28 02:13:42 UTC

@Sherlock no like fraternities not around identitarian

2018-10-28 02:13:48 UTC

ah gotcha

2018-10-28 02:13:51 UTC

If you're catholic, there is the Knights of Columbus

2018-10-28 02:14:02 UTC

I don't tend to advocate Mason stuff...

2018-10-28 02:14:13 UTC

Tbh I wish I were a Christian because the social aspect would be nice

2018-10-28 02:14:22 UTC

@Sherlock Are you pagan?

2018-10-28 02:14:25 UTC

@Sherlock become Christian then

2018-10-28 02:14:35 UTC

The AFA is probably the easiest way to find a pagan group that isn't totally pozzed

2018-10-28 02:14:46 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN yes but more philosophically than that I literally believe in the gods

2018-10-28 02:14:59 UTC

@Sherlock (that's not uncommon), still, give the AFA a look

2018-10-28 02:14:59 UTC

I have a hard time buying religious stuff

2018-10-28 02:15:23 UTC

I have looked into the AFA and the group around here is terrible and incompetent

2018-10-28 02:15:29 UTC

@greg_p Can you dm me? I can't access South Central slack..

2018-10-28 02:15:38 UTC

But I haven't tried in about a year so maybe they're better now idk

2018-10-28 02:15:46 UTC
2018-10-28 02:15:55 UTC

@Sherlock Very unfortunate. Yeah, the AFA website is pretty rough. Very 1998

2018-10-28 02:16:16 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN 1998 was a pretty good year

2018-10-28 02:16:24 UTC

90s were a good decade
