My father told me about white flight when we moved away from a certain part of Pennsylvania when I was 8. Never forgot it.

My parents literally did white flight because I had to go to a black school for a year when I was in 4th grade.

I knew exactly why they left too. 😎

It was bad.

I went to a 30% illegal immigrant school from 3rd to 9th grade. Pure hell.

But then we moved to one of the whitest areas in MD with some of the best schools in the country.
