Is it a brand?

No, it's a type of motorbike. Motorbikes are insanely specific, way more than cars. Naked bikes have a lot less fairing than any other type of motorbike for the road.

Inside naked bikes you can find muscle bikes, which are naked bikes with "oversized" engines. They're heavy, tend to sound great and have great reliability (the big displacement allows the engine to be quite "relaxed" and last for long).

For example, this motorbike has a 1300cc engine. There're cars with much smaller engines!

It's not superpowerful (the 1000cc version is faster and more powerful), the engine is just for looks, sound and reliability.

I've never ridden a motorcycle. Too dangerous for me.

It's a lot simpler than it looks, speed (to a point) is your friend, makes the handling very easy (centripetal force).

I started riding dirtbikes when I was 7, hit 100kph on dirt for the first time when I was 11... I've ridden on anything from asphalt to cobblestones, dirt, mud, grass, sand and even snow. I once went down a ski slope on a motorbike (it was a shortcut on a one-day offroad trip)! 😂

I got my 03 Toyota Camry up to 177 km once.

245kph on my dad's BMW 330d (it couldn't go faster) and I currently own a Renault Clio RS 200, which is mad fun on very twisty roads.

I haven't tried the top speed of the Clio yet (my area is full of speedcams, I'd need to go on a bit of a roadtrip), I think it's around 240kph too.

Thank God the fuckers very rarely install speedcams on twisty roads because I have a lot of fun on those. The Clio RS is somewhat small and it is meant for Initial D-like roads, it can be scary at times, sometimes I'm like "the car can probably go faster than what my brain allows me".
