Roundup is quite a good herbicide, and of low toxicity as herbicides go. Unfortunately, because of this people are overusing it, leading the emergence of resistance in weeds. Monsanto are trying to get all the farmers to cycle what herbicides they use to abrogate the problem. This is sort of like how antibiotics were a massive gift to humanity squandered to fatten fucking livestock, except Monsanto are a lot more responsible than pharmaceutical companies, actually trying to prevent resistance rather than merely overselling in the short term.
People aren't "idiots" for believing science and mountains of evidence over conspiracy theories and lies.
Also, again, the seeds don't produce roundup, they just produce plants that won't be killed by it.

Part of the reason why arguments/debates with people on Discord is a pain in the ass, especially larger channels, if you're not immediately back-and-forthing with them in the moment. Waiting for a response and finding yourself wading through like 5000 posts to find what they said (not *that* bad in this case but still)
