I love it when the AR thinks that the Allies abandoned Poland. How dare they not sacrifice 10s of millions of lives and perhaps even start a nuclear war (bringing humanity to the brink of extinction)
it was just too close to Russia for the allies to afford kicking that particular hornet's nest
case in point, the allies helped Greece stave of a communist revolution. It wasn't as if the allies wouldn't have prefered Poland to not be communist, it was the feasibility of trying to keep Poland away from the imperial ambitions of the Soviets that was the issue.
