A lot of what helped was we were on vacations and I would listen to a woman helping me out through videos she published on youtube. Patt would listen to them and it helped her understand what outside LDS was like. I always offered to wear headphones but neither of us liked them.

Think I am doing better than most. But very very difficult for sure.

Yehovah brings me joy and peace. I am so close to Yehovah I am never left alone.

I think the best way to share religious concerns is by living your life and as you did simply educating yourself. From a place of innocence for lack of a better word

Yes. That worked. I was very careful to not upset her. Just slowly see the pitfalls of the LDS church. In the end it was me pointing out how the Church was changing doctrine while lying they were not changing it. She saw the evil of lying about that.

My parents and all my siblings (6) are still LDS. Two of my seven children are as well.

I think that as they see me cope with the loss of my wife it is making them question LDS. Why is he doing so well. How has this helped mim so much, leaving LDS.

the overall irony of this whole discussion is we're having it on april fool's day

There is one Universal Truth that I think we can agree upon.
We have been lied to in every part of our lives!

the thing is for us to learn is to observe and be shown the lies for what they are as lies, not truth...not be shown a narrative of lies and call it truth

i'm more trustful of science than of narratives of the msm news

but the science programming of the msm is a lie in itself wrapped in the notions of truth

science thru observations is the only truth

but only first hand observations..not on tv

I worked in a factory for 15 years as a labourer, before getting into the teaching field.

mastering skills and training apprentices to take over for them...that is what the meaning is for

i have learned from masters..and created new skills on my own..while discovering the skills of other masters...for now i teach those that haven't learned anything yet of worth so they can pass on the knowledge to others when it's their time to share the information without the narrative trying to change it so it's a lie and not lived truth

a lived lie is a life that has no meaning, but a lived truth has meaning and gives hopeful purpose to the next generation of lives

Hated using them.

but later passed them on makeups when i went over their heads to show the head admins the books were full of shit when faced with reality of experience

Would use many case studies with my students.
Real case scenarios.

University books = Propoganda!

ya...my old school teachers would have us do school projects based upon real case environments and not whats listed only in the books

oh i actively avoid anything on english lit ...and anything that spawns off it like gender studies

i stick to real science books
