A lot of good stuff on here

2018-11-16 03:38:26 UTC

I'd rather wait for your long TL;DR though @Jacob 😉

2018-11-16 03:39:18 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD whites have higher rates of drunk driving first off because they own cars, can afford to drink at bars, and third they live in car dependent sprawled areas. I doubt it’s because they’re disproportionately irresponsible with alcohol consumption

I'm just saying, hiding behind that bedsheet could be literally any woman.

2018-11-16 03:39:55 UTC

And violence helps no one, and only emboldens the other side to victimhood.

2018-11-16 03:40:09 UTC

Plus being drunk and blowing “drunk” are often two different things.

2018-11-16 03:40:25 UTC

Says the Irish chick.

2018-11-16 03:40:29 UTC

@Dale Wyte Hot take. 🤔

2018-11-16 03:41:25 UTC

@Nemets Gotta overdue it so the other Muslims really know you are a Muslim now...

2018-11-16 03:42:18 UTC

I was thinking a great way to make people think there’s tons of immigration is to put a burka on whenever I drive around town. Just see how people react. Joking obviously

2018-11-16 03:42:36 UTC

good, but I still don't want them here.

2018-11-16 03:42:41 UTC

Islam is cancer.

2018-11-16 03:42:50 UTC

I've read the Qur'an...

2018-11-16 03:43:36 UTC

"keeps them separate"...San Bernardino, Orlando, NYC...

Oh okay. The TL;DR on that article is that research has quite consistently shown that when the supply of labor for a specific job rises by 10%, this coincides with a decrease in wages by 3%. Many statistics obscure this effect, because they measure broad categories rather than particular jobs. So, even if immigration does not cause a net decrease in wages, the workers whose fields get flooded with immigrants do experience a significant decrease, while the benefits generally are taken by the employers. So, the most vulnerable workers are harmed, while the only ones to gain significantly are employers. In addition, immigration causes a net fiscal drain after adding up federal, state, and local budgets, and this drain wipes out any net increase. So, essentially, wealth goes up for employers, down for vulnerable workers, and, to make it worse, the gain for the employers is paid for by your tax dollars that get drained from the budget. @Asatru Artist - MD

i'd like *more* separation thanks.

2018-11-16 03:44:32 UTC

@Jacob I meant the TL;DR you are working on for all this immigration stuff in general, but I'm reading this now. 😄

2018-11-16 03:45:30 UTC

oh cool

2018-11-16 03:46:16 UTC

I think we've already sifted through at least 100 studies

2018-11-16 03:46:27 UTC

This is going to be great once it comes out

2018-11-16 03:47:03 UTC

See, stories like this make me more sympathetic to the left. 😒

2018-11-16 03:47:22 UTC

2018-11-16 03:47:26 UTC

I don't think we're even half way done, though, so it's not coming tomorrow or anything. We really want to make it good. I'm working with one other guy who's not in IE.

Gg Sam I quit smoking last year. Still bum a cig now and then from people at big regional events. Im at the point where I can smoke 2-6 in a weekend and not crave any nicotine afterwards.

2018-11-16 03:59:26 UTC

Down from like, 2 packs a week to 1 pack per year lol

2018-11-16 03:59:34 UTC

@Papa Pizzagate congrats that is a hard habit to kick takes will power

2018-11-16 03:59:49 UTC

I have a true hatred for cigarettes, as my dad smoked for my whole life and ended up dying of COPD and heart disease most likely caused by smoking.

2018-11-16 03:59:59 UTC
2018-11-16 04:00:09 UTC

My dad didn't stop smoking until he had a heart attack

2018-11-16 04:00:15 UTC

At that point it's like a small indulgence and less of a terrible habit. @Sam Southern - TN is on the right path.
