and Kamala Harris forwarded a funding page to pay for their bonds 🤣

2021-01-17 19:08:56 UTC

I won't deny, they did arrest many... however the official 'law-keepers' were told to stand down in many instances, and allowed the burning and rioting to last weeks.... even the government officials were saying it's a great way to show how they really feel, (not in those exact words, but I hope you understand what I mean).

2021-01-17 19:08:58 UTC

Hell they arrest more liberals peacefully protesting than they arrest lunatics rioting in the capitol 😂

2021-01-17 19:10:06 UTC

That's because it's like I said earlier.... the people in the Capitol were a handful of the entire crowd... this was one protest who was actually 'mostly peaceful'...

2021-01-17 19:10:16 UTC

didn't Minneapolis defund their police station?

2021-01-17 19:10:25 UTC

over last summer,

2021-01-17 19:10:38 UTC

Most people who showed up to the Trump rally were just trying to be patriots... I don't think most people who went expected it to end like it did.

2021-01-17 19:10:58 UTC

Surrounding the capitol breaking in and killing folks isn’t peaceful. That’s not how peaceful protests work

2021-01-17 19:11:12 UTC

There was even some little ole grandma in the Capitol building.... she was obviously just following folks around.... I doubt she was a threat....

2021-01-17 19:11:26 UTC

Well, any city that cuts the police budget by millions, loses their Police Chief (a Black Female) because she didn't like the $100,000 cut in her pay, lets the rioters set up an autonomous district in their city for months, really doesn't need a reason to be unreasonable. I'm sorry I don't recall the news source I heard that from, but it was not a major/legacy news media source.

2021-01-17 19:11:26 UTC

@Tom(FTP/Dwarves), you just advanced to level 1!

2021-01-17 19:11:32 UTC

I agree with you. Those things should not have happened.

2021-01-17 19:11:32 UTC

the only person killed there was Ashli Babbit, the air force veteran

2021-01-17 19:12:11 UTC

3 others succumbed to "medical emergencies", the cop who died succumbed to being crushed and trampled on, awful, but I'd hardly call it murder

2021-01-17 19:13:13 UTC

I have read that one police officer died from being hit with a fire extinguisher.... I also read before that he died from previous medical conditions.... I don't know for sure which is true... both stories came from legacy media.

2021-01-17 19:13:52 UTC

I read that one was being crushed when he was caught between two doors in an elevator or something

2021-01-17 19:14:03 UTC

@Adam135 no regards for human life

2021-01-17 19:14:26 UTC

My point being, I don't think many disagree that what happened was terrible... even if it was only 1 death.... there should have been none.

2021-01-17 19:14:47 UTC

It almost seems like they were set up to fail

2021-01-17 19:14:52 UTC

I read this as well.

2021-01-17 19:15:15 UTC

on a day with hundreds of lawmakers and the vice president in one room, you'd figure there would be better security

2021-01-17 19:15:35 UTC

I also have heard both of those causes for his death. He apparently got back up and kept working but died later. The other police officer committed suicide that evening or the next day.

2021-01-17 19:15:39 UTC

Lolwtf? Bludgeoning people to death is murder last I checked.

2021-01-17 19:16:20 UTC

Alot of Capitol police sympathizers of the mob ..

2021-01-17 19:16:26 UTC

I'm not sure if it was set up to fail, but I know that the Governor was asked multiple times if they wanted backup throughout the previous days of this event, and she kept saying no... Why would anyone have said no... they knew tons of people were going to be there... and there's always going to be something with that many people in one place.

2021-01-17 19:16:50 UTC

It's quite a shame... the whole thing....

2021-01-17 19:17:34 UTC

They arrest thousands of liberal protestors that don’t pull any of this shit and y’all flip out when you break into the capital of the nation

2021-01-17 19:17:35 UTC

You'd figure they would have learned that by now after the Kavanaugh hearings when protesters took over the Hart Senate Office building

2021-01-17 19:17:47 UTC

"mostly peaceful"

2021-01-17 19:18:00 UTC

I read that the fire extinguisher situation went like this... not sure if it's true... but I read that someone threw an extinguisher at the cop... did not bludgeon him...

2021-01-17 19:18:20 UTC

They never thought Trump was going to invite them to the Capitol .. but Instead went to his bunker..

2021-01-17 19:18:43 UTC

They literally trampled a woman to death. Succumbing to injuries doesn’t change how to injuries happen

2021-01-17 19:19:01 UTC

They arrest hundreds in completely peaceful protests

2021-01-17 19:19:48 UTC

He said 'succumbing to medical emergencies'... that could literally be anything. I already said that I don't know the details of each death, and I already said it's all terrible.... not sure why there's a debate on this.

2021-01-17 19:19:48 UTC

yeah I'm sure they do. What wouldn't they when there's no provocation.

2021-01-17 19:20:30 UTC

it matters on regards of criminal liability and determining guilt

2021-01-17 19:21:00 UTC

Could the capitol leadership be prosecuted for failure to do their duties??

2021-01-17 19:21:28 UTC

not really, more likely asked to step down,

2021-01-17 19:21:43 UTC

Well yes, I agree with that. I meant I'm not sure what the debate is for Dedkraken and I on this matter.

2021-01-17 19:21:43 UTC

or firmly suggest them to step down.

2021-01-17 19:22:32 UTC

The water poisoning of Flint is being prosecuted
