Gotta remember, this potentially actually saves money.
I have no wisdom.... teeth
I can't stand to listen to her talk... and I avoid it as often as possible. So what statements did she make that incited violence?
And what coup?
<crunches teeth> at "The "right to bear arms" was only discussed in connection with a "well-regulated militia". "
so now i have to be drafted into militia to own a gun?
I read it was 200,000... either way a lot. BUT... Im gonna have to say worth it. Lots of people are going to be in and out of there the next week or so... it needs to be cleaned well
several coups, the most 2 recent ones is that she likely knew about Capitol break in plan, but be it as it may....
trying to get the codes was the latest one
then impeachment.... oh wai... its one coup after another!!
they spend 100k of that on vetting the cleaners lol
Keep in mind how much it costs for just one member of the WH admin spending time at WRMH.
do they go potty on the white house lawn?
That is NOT what I said. We can do all sorts of things that are not specifically designated in the Constitution.
What I am saying is that the CONSTITUTIONALLY protected right to bear arms is only protected in connection with a Well Regulated Militia. Its literally right there in the 2nd Amendment.
Sooooo.... yeah.... You can own a cow, a car and all sorts of things that are not specifically delineated in the Constitution
What?
To be fair, the militia is in reference to the people.
similar line of thought, obamas dogs probably cost god knows how much to american taxpayers!!! Trump even saved us money by not bringing in stray animals from the local humane society
I never even said anything regarding Trump's spending?
people that are willing to be officially militia, what if you are not
there's are tons of vetted cleaners in the DC area BTW ... there's a whole cottage industry of "vetted" cleaners in and around DC plus a whole other cottage industry of "cleared" (as in security clearance) escorts for those "vetted" cleaners
Hear me out:
What if the insurrectionists had twins separated at birth, as a program starting sometime in the 1950's and continuing to present. One twin was raised as an alt right maniac and the other was kept at an antifa camp, just in case Donald Trump was ever president. Then all they had to do was send the antifa ones to the capitol to riot and arrest the Trump ones who built lifetimes of reputation for radical fringe views.
Anyway, think about it.
Right wing evangelicals likening trump to Jesus. These people have fallen off a cliff https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/state/north-carolina/article248528080.html
George Soros was creating the Nazi Germany deep state at age 5-9.
This is bigger than any of us could imagine.
i would argue that they are only partially off the cliff, and not even "in flight"
Nancy Pelosi is literally a psychopathđź‘€
No they definitely aren’t flying, dropping like a rock into a sea of nuts @Eden
she must be warming her feet at the fire of hell on a nightly basis
Lol
I don't agree because the word "people" is also specifically mentioned in the 2nd Amendment.
The right of the people to bear arms.... so if the only requirement was a citizen then why even mention "in order to maintain a well regulated milita" ?
In fact the Militia part starts it off.... "In order to maintain a well regulated milita...." So its telling you WHY....
If they wanted people to have the right to bear arms for home protection, hunting, and defending yoruself against your government (as if often suggested) then why even mention the Militia?
Why not say: "It shall be the right of the people to bear arms. period"?
Trumps going to jail
Haha
Or at least be in court forever
Because you're not remembering the context of the meaning behind these words of the time. Our language has changed in unrecognizable ways, and so has the perception of meaning.
LOL... yeah... I saw that his lawyer is saying Trump is OBLIGATED to pardon him... and presumably all the rest of the folks there
Again. I disagree. Older Supreme Court cases (closer in time to that language) have been more in line with my position than yours....
So that just is not an accurate statement
depends on how close ... up until the 20th century an ordinary citizen could own just about anything the military had without much fuss
In cases in the 19th Century, the Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment does not bar state regulation of firearms. For example, in United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542, 553 (1875), the Court stated that the Second Amendment “has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the national government,” and in Presser v. Illinois, 116 U.S. 252, 265 (1886), the Court reiterated that the Second Amendment “is a limitation only upon the power of Congress and the National government, and not upon that of the States.” Although most of the rights in the Bill of Rights have been selectively incorporated (PDF) into the rights guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment and thus cannot be impaired by state governments, the Second Amendment has never been so incorporated.
Those cases were upholding gun restrictions
