2018-11-26 18:38:54 UTC

Never had a great strudel, honestly.

2018-11-26 18:39:42 UTC

Not really sure how one could go wrong with pasty and condensed fruit. You could stack that crap up on a plate, and I'd dig it 😎

2018-11-26 18:40:11 UTC

lindzer tort on the other hand

2018-11-26 18:40:23 UTC

I'd be hella down; just never tried it.

2018-11-26 18:41:28 UTC

@Jacob Regarding Polish cuisine, though, I can tear up some spicy Polish sausage and kielbasa!

2018-11-26 18:42:50 UTC

(I know "kielbasa" is just the Polish word for sausage, but they're normally pretty mild, rather than spicy.)

2018-11-26 18:43:14 UTC

"sausage and kiełbasa"
dude I'm so triggered

2018-11-26 18:43:30 UTC

but at least you know

2018-11-26 18:43:40 UTC

Did I seriously trigger your autism, or are you just screwing with me, lol?

2018-11-26 18:44:37 UTC

No because you elaborated

2018-11-26 18:44:53 UTC

"Phew." <:nervous:359009898115104770>

2018-11-26 18:45:02 UTC

😂

2018-11-26 18:45:19 UTC

But generally I find it kinda pretentious when people say "kiełbasa" instead of just saying "sausage"

2018-11-26 18:46:31 UTC

Like I'm not gonna get genuinely mad at someone, since I don't expect people to know this stuff, but it sounds silly

2018-11-26 18:46:32 UTC

Yeah. Depends on the context. Normally, when someone here says "sausage" with an adjective, I think it's kind of understood, even if not consciously, that they're talking about something out of the British Isles.

2018-11-26 18:46:53 UTC

huh interesting

2018-11-26 18:47:40 UTC

to me it sounds like those people who say "croissant" with an intentional French accent

2018-11-26 18:47:44 UTC

For instance, what one might call a classic "American" breakfast is actually what the British peoples or Irish would call a "fry."

2018-11-26 18:47:53 UTC

When I hear "Sausage" i think German, instead of English

2018-11-26 18:48:03 UTC

"Kwa-soooo..."

2018-11-26 18:49:00 UTC

>heard yall were talking about sausage

2018-11-26 18:49:16 UTC

British breakfasts are massive

2018-11-26 18:49:19 UTC

it's scary

2018-11-26 18:49:26 UTC

@Papa Pizzagate While initially inclined to say that's kinda weird, given the size and duration of the German presence in your neck o' the woods, that kinda makes sense.

2018-11-26 18:49:42 UTC

I'd throw up if I ate that much

2018-11-26 18:49:48 UTC

in the morning

2018-11-26 18:50:15 UTC

@Jacob *Bjorn - MD shudders at the thought of the breakfast scene from Trainspotting...*

2018-11-26 18:50:44 UTC

It's bulking season

2018-11-26 18:50:50 UTC

BLOAT MAX

2018-11-26 18:50:56 UTC

@Papa Pizzagate I don't get the reference, lol. Did I miss a meme?

2018-11-26 18:52:09 UTC

I usually don't even eat breakfast

2018-11-26 18:52:18 UTC

Same.

2018-11-26 18:52:45 UTC

What's breakfast? 🤔

2018-11-26 18:53:07 UTC

My mom had this phase when she would make me these absolutely massive breakfasts, like dinner size, and I'd eat like one fourth of it and give up.

2018-11-26 18:53:12 UTC

Its that time of morning when you eat cold pizza as the Keurig warms up @Asatru Artist - MD

2018-11-26 18:54:44 UTC

i had ice cream for breakfast

2018-11-26 18:54:46 UTC

no bulli

2018-11-26 18:55:00 UTC

Soooo do the Germans ever eat things that are healthy and not overflowing with sugars, fats and carbs?

2018-11-26 18:55:01 UTC

Sounds like you guys need to take the oatmeal and hard-boiled egg(s) pill <:redpill:439924063377555497>
