certainly not by the time they go through the system
ITS SNOWING
I’m just excited for my fall from grace and end of military career when I’m found out
[Officer rank here] Alex is gonna lose his retirement like you won’t believe
I only accept leaders who can do one of the following:
1. outfight me
2. outthink me
3. sacrificed more than me -FOR me/my family
IE leadership fulfills one or all of the above. Glow in the dark gov THOTs do none.
DtR was worth the price to confirm my trust in IE leadership. (it was fun too)
I only accept leaders who can out game me
@Kingfish Zoomerism
next Executive Director has to face Patrick in ritual combat, followed by a fierce Sudoku competition
outfight ✅ outthink ✅
We Fedaykin now
Implying Patrick won't be forced to rule forever from the Golden Throne
good point
this got me thinking, though: we need more people working in government and in the think tank sphere
I know it’s insufferable, but it’s one way to get influence
because you need a large number of people at every level of govt for an actual transformation (disclaimer: peacefully, lawfully)

@political science/international majors, that’s us fam. We gotta free the Beltway from the arms of the Koch-topus
after watching trump at the funeral, idk how he holds his tongue while being surrounded by such evil people who hate him
Great movie @Wood-Ape - OK/MN 👌🏻
I like the 2001 TV movie better, even if it is lower budget
i wasn't a fan of that one. Movie > TV Movie
book > movie though
won't disagree with that
Mostly because of the sound track
Bryan Tyler a few years later composed the OST for "300."

A lot of talk going on in many quarters regarding Yellow Vest movement in France and ways to spin / leverage what’s going on. Wondering how relevant it is for us - thoughts?
a few
basically, I don’t think trying to make it about immigration/identity overtly is a good idea
but pushing the anti-globalist angle will necessarily make people think about the issues associated with globalism
@ASalvati It skews rural, skews native French (white), skews anti-globalist. So a good thing
From what I’ve read they’re mad at the elite in general
Yes it could head further that way
yeah it’s both left and right against the elite
There’s a spin war in US media on it right now
They should be out there over immigration obvs but yea both sides are out
but bear in mind that some on the french left have been known to lean nationalist in elections, because the national front is essentially pro welfare for French (read: white) people
Whoever sent me the hats/mittens, they got here today :)
I mean the actual socialist left, not the neoliberal left
horseshoe theory confirmed, I guess
but the broader shift from left-right to globalist-antiglobalist can work in our favor
@Isabella Locke-MT little Henry is gonna grow up wondering why he randomly gets presents from “cool Uncles” haha.
we cool uncles now
