Nope

2020-08-26 23:33:03 UTC

so why dont they equip it on every gun with a barrel

2020-08-26 23:33:15 UTC

Money

2020-08-26 23:33:40 UTC

lol

2020-08-26 23:33:44 UTC

answer to everything

2020-08-26 23:34:12 UTC

but a muzzle brake is a tiny piece of metal

2020-08-26 23:34:21 UTC

"money tho" goes the gun companies

2020-08-26 23:34:47 UTC

Still costs time and effort to make said tiny piece of metal

2020-08-26 23:35:06 UTC

yeah

2020-08-26 23:35:23 UTC

makes sense

2020-08-26 23:35:26 UTC

its still a gun

2020-08-26 23:35:37 UTC

and itll still kill someone who wants to kill you

2020-08-26 23:35:44 UTC

Yep

2020-08-27 00:08:28 UTC

@LeSwede Every prepper should have a plan to egress if needed. Should it be a first course of action? For many, the answer is no

2020-08-27 00:09:18 UTC

For people in NYC or New Orleans, which is about to get hit by a hurricane, it might be

2020-08-27 00:11:34 UTC

@A Person The problem with threading a barrel isn't just money. It requires a setup that has virtually perfect concentricity because if the muzzle attachment isn't on perfectly concentric with the barrel, your accuracy goes to shit

2020-08-27 00:11:58 UTC

Plus muzzle brakes are really noisy to anyone behind the muzzle

2020-08-27 00:12:14 UTC

Also not necessary for many firearms on the market

2020-08-28 07:25:42 UTC

just throw rocks

2020-08-28 07:43:24 UTC

Gee what an idea. Why didn't I think of that 🥴

2020-08-28 11:15:23 UTC

New paint and chicken wire on the old kevlar helmet. Ready to defend the Normandy coastline or neighborhood. Which ever comes first.

@A Person Another option if you're looking for short range but low recoil options is to use mini shells. They've got the same muzzle velocity as full length shells, but don't quite have the reach. The tradeoff of course is that they're much lower recoil.

2020-08-28 19:56:42 UTC

@Diabeł Boruta Is a fabric cover an option, or do you prefer the chicken wire?

2020-08-28 19:57:29 UTC

I prefer chicken wire because I have a lot of chicken wire

2020-08-28 20:00:11 UTC

Fair enough.

2020-08-28 20:00:28 UTC

You planning on adding grit to the paint or just use matte finish?

2020-08-28 20:01:48 UTC

I May add concrete to it

2020-08-28 20:15:46 UTC

Good luck.

#SIGMA no I am white but I have two adopted black brothers so technically I can make fun about black people because I have black family ,funny thing is my brother's identity as " white supremacist" because the are pro white conservatives.
