Anyone know how to put sling mounts in a stock? You gotta drill holes in the stock and then put the round screw type mount and then you can put the ring mount on that if you so choose right??

@HUNTER4639 Depends on the mount. Some use pic rails, some require a type of helicoil, some are coarse enough thread to just torque it in. What kind of mount do you have and what stock are you mounting it to?

Machining raw forgings is more tricky than most people think. There are no flat planes of reference so you have to locate the "nub" on the left side where the mag release goes to zero your lower
