You’ve probably heard this question about 100 times but I’m looking to spend 1500-2000$ for an AR. Does anyone have a pre built they recommend? I bought a cmmg banshee 9mm like a year ago before all this went down. I was like “this will be a great apocalypse weapon because 9mm is the most abundant ammo” well the quarantine proved that was a lie.

Only reason I bought a carbine is if they ever do an assault rifle ban. At least we will still have 9mm ammo and I can make the best of it. (Even tho carbines will still be considered illegal)

@Kaladin yeah it’s a CZ Rami 2075, I have the Decocker model. The gun is kinda plain, not a lot you can do with it. That’s why I don’t mind a little flash on this one

@Kaladin best EDC pistol imo. You need to replace the recoil spring pretty much from day one but that’s the only problem it has. Shoots amazing

@Kaladin lol yes I have experience with a p365, it was actually the gun I traded in to buy this gun. The p365 is a good bit smaller. However, size was not my concern. I appendix carry and I feel that a double action is much much safer than a striker fire. Gun nuts will tell you the gun is as safe as you are but we are all human and mistakes happen when you start to get comfortable in your routine.

Idk if this helps you, my hands are about 8 inches from tip to base. I prefer the 10 rd mag as it is smaller but my pinky doesn’t fit. Doesn’t really matter tho bc the mag has a nice lip on it and the guy weighs 26 oz and doesn’t have much recoil

@Kaladin don’t get me wrong p365 is great and has good stock sights but just wanted to get away from striker fire. I put like 1000 rds thru the 365 and had no malfunctions

@GoCRAZY yes with a da/sa auto you can put one in the chamber & decock the gun. The benefits to a da/sa auto is that the trigger is about twice the weight of a striker fire gun when in double action mode. Another benefit is when holstering I can put my thumb on the hammer and press down, if I feel a snag /resistance pushing the hammer back I can stop and see what’s the issue. Also I have never been a fan of the idea of a hammer cocked back and ready to fire while facing my dick. You can trust the gun all you want but I only have one dick, I’m not taking a chance

Don’t I know it. I only recently got into guns in 2017, I was slowly working my way towards an Ar15, I bought 8 handguns & a Cmmg banshee carbine. Guess I never really thought there was a time limit to buying these things but with all the assault rifle ban talk, I feel the rush to buy lol. But like another person said, I might as well wait, unless you stock piled ammo, what’s the point in getting the gun if they ban the ammo

@Scott_Cole I’ve done a lot of research since I last posted. A lot of people are shitting on HHV type helmets, they keep saying they will stop the bullet but apparently they have an issue with being deformation. They’re saying you’re going to get a cracked skull.

I have been having a hard time finding actual studies proving human involvement in recent climate change. My buddy is kind of a libtard on most political issues but he presented a decent argument I guess. I told him, let’s just say humans are involved in climate change for the sake of the argument, is it very urgent that we have to change and waste a massive amount of money to make that change possible(we are referring to the green new deal which plans to eliminate the need for oil and gas within 10 years) because it said the earth has only risen on average 1.8 degrees world wide since 1950... I said we only have 90 years of gas left, can be just slowly transition out of oil and gas as electric cars tech becomes more affordable and efficient than gas, which would lead people to switch regardless. His counter argument was 1.8 degrees is a really big deal, he then said if you don’t think 1.8 degrees is a big deal, how much different does 74 degrees feel in your house vs 72 degrees. I was like damn you got a point, 74 feels like I’m burning in hell and 72 is nice and chilly in comparison. I’m not a scientist and this topic seems to have a massive amount of miss information but we live in Miami and he’s worried about Miami going under water in the near future

I had a quick question, I had a trigger job on my Cz rami and I liked the original trigger so I had no interest in replacing it for an extra 60$ but now I regret it because I like the stainless steel look of the hammer. I saw a video on how to replace the trigger and it doesnt look too difficult, is it possible to polish a trigger the same way you would polish a barrel, by soaking it in vinegar & removing the paint?

I was also planning on polishing the barrel because I have only put 300 rounds thru the gun and the paint is starting to fade on the barrel, seems like a typical problem with czs
