part of it blew up apprently
Cooilguns are super cool
darnit
As in it would be a sin to put it on? It’s Optimus prime
but i think they fixed it
Yes
Ruger 10/22?
308
Bolt
I see
I got it when I was 16
Nice
Gave my dad the money for it and sent him to the gun store
the coilgun is chambered in .50 cal and can break tempered glass
plus no recoi;
Then the next day when sighting in the bolt fell apart after the second shot
I wouldnt mind owning a coilgun
Luckily ruger repaired it free of charge
Many gun companies just don't make em like they used to. Reminds me of cars
mods can i post the video of said coilgun?
yay
They really don’t my granddad on my dads side he has a Belgium browning he bought it when it was brand new and man that’s a pretty gun wood stock semi auto chambered in 30-06
I want to see this coilgun
My granddad on my moms side tells me that my love of guns will only get me in trouble
I've used some old Remington 870 shotguns that were smooth as glass and the fit and finish on them was outstanding. Brand new ones are pretty rough
while it is more powerful then say, airsoft and airguns,
im not sure if its any more powerful then say, a normal firearm
although that might have something to do with how they're just powering it with LiPo batteries
Its difficult to get a power source with enough juice to fire a sustained volume of rounds while still being portable enough to be used in a small arm
yeah
Fortunately, we live in an interesting time where the research into this for EVs might eventually trickle down into coilguns
i believe just one of the coil segments is already 3.24 lbs
Damn
Two of those is almost the weight of my unloaded Kalash
jeez
However, we must continue R&D on these because the current legal definition of a firearm doesn't cover coilguns
Just shot a Tavor. Its also the first bullpup I ever shot. I am normally left handed but had to shoot it right handed so the casing didnt hit my chin
Thats one thing that sucks about a lot of bullpups
